Solis’ prep phase use makes sense but everything else is some bull.
I think that no prep phase and maybe shorter use time were okay, but also shorter ability range is too much
@@GesuBambino-The shorter ability range is meant to discourage people from just camping downstairs with a nitro waiting for the plant. It’s pretty clear with the grenade nerf they don’t want people doing that sort of thing as much.
Better than nerfing guns and then the operator is still broken because their gadget was untouched so they nerf the gadget but forget to buff their gun again to make up for it(rip jager)

Lowering the range and duration of solis's gadget is alright but making it unusable during prep is just sad
Heaven forbid you remove her ability to effortlessly wipe out half the enemy’s information equipment in the first 30 seconds of the game. With the firearm nerfs, information is going to be more important than ever. Losing half of attack’s assets would be beyond Fenrir’s level of overpowered (there’s a reason she was banned more in pro league than he was).
You got that backwards. That was the only unfair part that went against the game's design. The rest was fine and should be left untouched.
I’m fine with either change but keeping both of those nerfs is a little much. Instead of making ops balanced they always nerf them to hell and back and make them miserable to play

Hey that clip is me it is 90 fov I play ps5 idk y it looked zoomed out but I usually set my HUD to as small as possible which what might of made it look so zoomed out or the plane wing aswell
How Ubisoft can be so stupid for creating an op and nerf it after only few month..They have about one year for testing a new op before releasing.. Besides they don't know how to nerf properly.. For Fenrir like Melusi, they just had to nerf by reducing the range. For Azami, a nerf by a smaller kiba rockrock, a longer cooldown and/or a a reducing amount was enough.. For Solis, I'm agree about the range and the reduced time of using but totally stupid for the prep phase...
Seeing some of the response people have to the nerfs for solis and fenrir actually makes me baffled. Like brother what other ops need a buff against those two??? They needed a nerf

Failbisoft always going for the overkill... Any of the multiple nerfs by themselves were enough to keep them strong but would solve their issues by not making them overpowered. For Solis disabling her ability in the prep phase was enough since that was the unfair part. For Fenrir removing one of his Dread Mines would have been enough to leave him strong but not broken. Failbisoft solution? Making every operator mid.

Ubisoft is so stupid, this nerf on Fenrir is going to do hardly anything, he’s still going to be very strong and get picked all the time. Make his gadget lose its effect faster once you leave it’s radius. That way Fenrir is still good but not so powerful.

Just nerfing everything again. For those people that saying Solis needed a nerf yes. But not like this that she would be mostly useless or really hard to use now. Every gadget could have different amount of detection range etc. Instead of bombing her to the ground. I hope this whole Tom Clancy named titles will be sold to someone actually cares about the name and the community this crap is just turning into "tacticalish" valorant&fortnite bs.

Solis's nerf is ridiculous. in prep phase i get it. Make an option to turn off your drone and not able for other team8s to use it. its like drowning in a spoon sometimes. i don't get it

@@ChrisGR93_TxS right back at you smoothbrain there's nothing to argue here the fact that the mere POTENTIAL prescense of a defender in the enemy team that counters drones so hard exists is dumb and your suggestion which basically boils down to adding an option that encourages blindly(cause again how would you even know solis exists so you can turn off your drone until you actually drone her and inevitably lose it) giving up invaluable prep phase droning time is even dumber. Attackers need to have at least this one advantage of being able to more safely drone during the prep phase so this nerf is completely justified, simple as that.

Range nerf is perfect for solis so is the time usage but the prep phase one seems dumb
Not at all, if anything that's the one thing that's needed to be nerfed over the others. On paper, defense has the advantage since they just need to sit in a corner and run the timer and they win, attackers actually have to push and do something to win the round, meaning they get access to drones to sweep the building to find the bombs, discover any trap setups and to scope out any ops being played. If our drones are killed within the first 10 secs of a round and no one got in the building, it breaks the point of the game. You can't just say, "don't go in and waste your drone", because waiting means you waste time during attack droning NOW rather than before, on top of not knowing where the bombs are to choose your spawn location, even more on top of not knowing which atk op you should be picking for the specific site. Nah. Great nerf.

I say... Won't buy elite sets anymore. Bought Iana elite, Iana nerfed. Bought Azami elite, Azami nerfed. And Fenrir nerf in the coming season after u buy the elite. Luckily, nokk already nerfed so feel free to get it 🤣
The only thing I hate is lowering gudgets number of Fenrir. That's all, Solis is perfectly fine for me. Fenrir has such a huge ban/pick rate, so I see why they went for drastic way of nerfing him, still using his gadgets needs small part of your brain's IQ, so yea.

Nah she's still gonna be one of the best defenders I guaranteed you, the information she offers is just unmatched and her guns are still amazing
@@jimtsap04 I mean in terms of having good guns, both Mute and Mozzie has that in their kit too, and while sure she will still be able to do different things than those 2, I feel now its just for more niche scenarios, I wouldn't mind the timer of her power shorter too but from what it looks like with the range, its looks shorter or either equal of a pulse scanner, and at that point, you could just have a pulse. She won't be at the bottom due to good weapons but I feel in the Siege Weapon department they are starting to fix up a lot of guns.
@@mettsusharpclaw the power of solis lies in her versatility, she is the perfect mixture of some of the best qualities of all different types of both information acquiring and denying operators, sure you can do a similar if not better job in some scenarios with more specialized ops for that job, but solis can flex into any one of those different roles and in fact can even work great alongside other operators of that role to amplify their strengths even more, she gives info info to defenders, denys it to attackers, can roam, can deny plants, can frag, impact tricks, impact hatches, walls, windows(she's the best at jumpouts thanks to being able to spot claymores), shields etc. etc. she's a jack of all trades AND a master in many of them. She'll still most certainly be a top defender.
@@jimtsap04 I agree that she is a Jack of all trades, but a master of none of them, it isn't that problematic as before, but it sure is just going to be niche. For Information she can give a Pulse, Valk, Mozzie, Maestro (to some degree), they can give better, to stop plants Pulse or Valk can do the same, to roam, legit Vigil being buffed passively with the launch of Deimos is now even better, and other better roamers like Mozzie, Pulse, Cav, Orix, also are in the pool, there are many impact Tricker's already but more are thanked so that is something, yeah I will say she is the best at jumpouts (if someone doesn't manage to her the claymore being set down or just wasn't around at the time), I will give that, but certianly what the whole point I was trying to give out that others can just shine either as equal to her or even a bit more than her at times, she is certinaly not at the bottom, and being a Jack of all trades is still a nice trait, but I do think Fenrir and even Azami got off ligther than her. For sure some will still pick her for her good weapons its why I pick Lion at lot of the times just for the weapons or in some cases people pick Warden for just the weapons, but yeah, I don't think in MY opinion she is a worth picking unless depending on what the bans are or what the map is, I can see in good flanking maps or maps with a lot of vert she can come in handy sometimes, again not to say she is bad or anything, but I will probably pick ops that can do the same (or better) as she can for certain scenarios.
@@mettsusharpclaw yeah exactly everything about her is good and she can do a lot of things a lot of ways if you have experience, personally she's one of my comfort picks since I solo qeue a lot and I often find my teammate don't do their jobs correctly so her versatility allows me to pick up their slack and make up for any weaknesses in our defense as they come up, the problem was just her gadget being way too overtuned to the point where it felt too easy and free getting so much information with the press of a button, now it's toned to a level more appropriate with other intel related operators so I feel she is in a much better spot balance wise, not broken like before but certainly still really good since she brings so much to the table that cannot be ignored

I dont think solis nerf solid. Coz like warden people playin her for weapon/speed stuff. I've never seen Solis players actually useful with their gadget. Also many many times Warden's death by Ying. The ultimate counter but its r6...
Solis literally has one of the besy gadgets ever made wdym, the amount of info it offers throughout the course of a round is nearly unmatched, and even after the nerfs it will likely still be really good just not as busted
On paper yeah but usualy use for roam and rest of team cannot use her any benefit. Usualy weapon and gear set get more important than actual ability of operator himself. @@jimtsap04

It really isn't. I love playing solis, but she's way too strong. Also I think the main issue at hand is solis punishing attackers for playing the game how it's intended
@@ShadwRaze IMO the range nerf is too much. Something between new and old would be more fair. The fact she can't use her gadget in prep is nerf big enough.
@@FluffedUpMaverick The prep phase nerf is definitely what she needed, I agree. But I also think the range makes her harder to use and also requires better positioning and taking more risk. I haven't played that yet, but I feel like good solis players won't be impacted much by it. But definitely makes her harder to use and I personally like that ^^ I do however understand where you're coming from. Gonna have to play her to get a full feeling, but just from seeing I do like it.

Honestly Solis needed a nerf with how strong she was, instead of the player base adapting to the new playstyle I see people bitching about some changes.
I don't hate the Ubisoft developers but in my personal opinion Siege has become less fun they have been nerfing good Operators to the point where they're most likely garbage like i used to play Twitch when she had her Vertical grip a lot but since they removed that i never played her again. I don't play Siege anymore either.,
