Baby Mountain Gorillas in Uganda

This is a short video of mountain gorilla babies trying to walk, falling, tumbling, practicing chest beats and pestering their mothers and older siblings, who were trying to rest. I shot this video in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park in Uganda. This is the Rushegura Group, which at the time had three babies aged 4, 6 and 12 months.

  • This is exactly why it's so critically vital to keep supporting and funding organizations that will ensure moments like these will remain in this world.

  • They are so relaxed! Sleeping, grooming, playing, eating, having the most beautiful babies! This is heaven.

  • WHY would anyone mark a thumbs down on this marvelous video ? 24 people were cynical enough to admit that this video did not make them happy. they are not normal. if this video did not make you laugh, or at least smile, your heart is stone. and i pity you.

  • This is so cute I hope that OUR grand kids will be able to SEE incounters like this where they are safe happy content in the wild with no worries:-) that's a nice thought but I really think we all have to make changes happen do we really need the palm oil? New cell ph or computer what happens to the old one? Palm oil are there not other alternatives? Clothes why can't we where them till they wear out come on when you get rid of TV cell ph old computer Walkman ,you get the drift of what I'm saying then what do you do with your old clothes? Donate throw? Then how often do you do this? Then regular trash plastic bottles straws takeout containers none of that stuff breaks down ever.I'm not saying wear rags but come on there are second hand shops that help with that,but we all could think of taking that extra step now reuse refurbished recycling in ten years it's just going to be that much worse so let's please act now:-) for us as well as what wild animals and fish that are still here....

  • The eastern pongo’s scientific name Gorilla beringei means the German explorer Robert von Beringe’s pongo. By pongo, I mean a “gorilla” and that word came from a word spoken in the Mayombe, which is in Gabon, the Republic and Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Cabinda in Angola. Can you believe that?

  • They look so happy and healthy. The Gorillas in zoos look nothing like this.

    @harpermacenzi9483@harpermacenzi94833 жыл бұрын
    • Most gorillas in the zoo are lowland but these are mountain gorillas and they are only found in Uganda and Rwanda and Congo

  • I've always wondered...if the forest is _impenetrable_ how'd they get these pictures?

    @austinevplab7167@austinevplab71672 жыл бұрын
    • Hey The forest is called impenetrabel because its involves to have enough energy to trek these mountain gorillas at bwindi even people hire porters to help and support them while treking these mountain gorillas.
