Anyone else notice that this clip from Sportsnet shows the only time during the playoffs he was excited about an Edmonton goal?? Good announcer? Ha!! There is only one politically correct reason why a man who doesn’t understand hockey, doesn’t know the players, and uses what I’m only guessing is Cricket terms, to describe the game is calling the game. It breaks all our hearts that Jack gets sidelined every single time we are in playoffs. And poor Louie. If it wasn’t for Louie carrying your hero through every call of every game … well let’s just say if we had to rely solely on his colour commentary, most nights I’d think I was listening to a broom ball game. We want Jack. We’ve always wanted Jack. It should be the best man, or woman for the job. Jack is the best. Period. Not frame, but PERIOD.

I think he's a good commentator, but you can tell he's not particularly an oilers fan, or at the very least tries to be neutral. For us we prefer Jack due to his full bias for us.

What’s the matter with you guys? A good announcer?! You’ve got to be kidding. Anyone else notice that this clip from Sportsnet shows the only time during the playoffs he was excited about an Edmonton goal?? Good announcer? Ha!! There is only one politically correct reason why a man who doesn’t understand hockey, doesn’t know the players, and uses what I’m only guessing is Cricket terms, to describe the game is calling the game. It breaks all our hearts that Jack gets sidelined every single time we are in playoffs. And poor Louie. If it wasn’t for Louie carrying your hero through every call of every game … well let’s just say if we had to rely solely on his colour commentary, most nights I’d think I was listening to a broom ball game. We want Jack. We’ve always wanted Jack. It should be the best man, or woman for the job. Jack is the best. Period. Not frame, but PERIOD.

I'm pretty sure Jack isn't officially a Sportsnet employee. Plus Harnarayan has seniority over him anyways. There's no "woke agenda", the man is Canadian born and raised. Have an issue, there's another country below us that may share your sentiment.
