I would like to begin by stating that I have lost all respect for Wilbur after becoming aware of what he’s done. I no longer support him AT ALL. The Wilbur Soot ARG is probably one of the best community based event I've ever seen in my life. The story was/is tough, but not too tough to lose interest. Wilbur just has that cryptic vibe that makes you need to know the whole story.

Even though I don't personally ejoy the Dream SMP I can't deny how big of an impact it was in sheding new light onto Minecraft.

I've been waiting for so long to see another one of these monster compilations about someone. I've seen the Legends of Philza and Technoblade told, but Wilburs was far worth the wait for. All three are people who can captivate an audience, but Wilbur seems to know how to tell a story for months on end better than anyone I'd ever heard of. From his ARG's to the Dream SMP, he's someone that can hold the attention of his audience with ease, and keep it until he draws the curtains close. He's truly an amazing creator, both on KZhead and on Twitch, and I am so glad you decided to give us a small glimpse into his amazing journey and story of how he came to be one of the most captivating creators to date
Little did Evan know that he himself was becoming a legend.
There are a few videos on KZhead that I believe should remain forever as a historical masterpiece to be remembered and rewatched for years to come but this channel consistently makes that standard. There is no other channel that I have seen do this consistently. Evan MC is the historian this community needed.

My favorites were the ARG and the dream SMP parts. The ARG is still a mystery for me (and maybe more people) and i love the story of the dream SMP.
i have truly never seen anyone who is as loved by stories and as good of a storyteller as him. the way he inspires and animates people to continue those stories is evident everywhere he goes-- on ao3 and twitter and the comment sections of his 100p videos, in art and music and everything else people create based on his content. i wish him all the best & i cannot WAIT for all the songs and stories he will share with us in the future.
"The Legend of TommyInnit - Right Hand Man of Minecraft" He'd love this title because; It's a Hamilton reference, and Tommy always seemed to be the one who brings people together. He's been called a "Hero" and has been referred to many times but he was never the "Main Character" of the story (Dream SMP). He's like the lovable and relatable supporting character on everyones side. I genuinely love this child.
I think the fact that he could make himself into the villain like in smpearth is also something unique. most people want to be the hero of the story, not everyone wants to be the villain for the fun of it, to make content for himself and others.

I swear seeing how far all of these different content creators have come is amazing. Specially to those who found them early on. I found Philza, Techno, Tommy, Ranboo and Wilbur all at their peak viewers growth time, so I can't really say I've watched them grow or been there from the beginning, but seeing how far they have come from what I have seen and heard about is amazing.
Honestly I’m just so proud of Wilbur, he deserves all the fame he’s gotten and more. His storytelling is amazing and incredibly in-depth, his ARG is INSANE, he’s hilarious, has amazing original ideas, is a great Minecraft player… Thank you so much for covering my favorite streamer!

Wilbur has actually said that he made it very poorly and now having done other ARGs he knows how he would have improved it but still it is one of the hardest and mysterious ARGs of all time. Wilbur is one of the best content creators I know.

I never realized how much I enjoyed being myself even if I'm not good at something Wilbur reminded me that it takes time and determination to get better, whenever I felt depressed I would listen to his music because I could connect to it, and in a way, it helped me through. Wilbur is truly a legend.
Didn’t mention a few minor things: Wilbur mentioned that the ARG was hard not because of how well it was made but the opposite Wilbur hasn’t played Minecraft for years at the time of the ARG and he kind of wanted jack to diversify his content Ironically enough Wilbur started playing Minecraft himself LoveJoy’s drummer was hired from fiverr
it's crazy how difficult and intimate the arg was with no one figuring out whatsoever. So thanks to people like game theory and red herring for helping moving the story along whether it was right or not. and also proving more that wilbur is indeed a social genius

This video always makes me tear up, I'm a fairly long time Wilbur fan and I will never be able to express my admiration and gratitude towards him enough. I'm so proud of everything he's done despite the face the closest I've ever been to him was barrier at a Lovejoy gig. He will always have my up most respect o7 (also apparently I left a different comment on this video a year ago that I didn't remember haha)
I've seen pretty much everything in this video in separate ways, from learning about Wilbur through the Dream SMP, from watching SMP live clips for a while, to watching Matpat's video on the Wilbur Soot ARG a few months ago, to really only learning about Soothouse a few weeks ago! I remember watching one of Wilbur's old SMPEarth streams in twitch, and the first thing Wilbur thought when he met Tommy was; Robbing him, and manipulating him in helping the making of the bridge.
found wilbur from his squid song when it was recomended to me a while back,i watched all of his growth,from the skyblock series all the way to the dsmp hell even the ylyl videos,you can see the gradual impovement in his videos and streams so happy for his growth :)

I’ve watched content creators for years, so looking back seeing the rise and fall of many, many creators is very fun to do. First started with Stampy and DanTDM, moving to Captain Sparklez, and so on, and now it’s people like Techno, Tommy, Wilbur, etc who now have the reins. Also SMPs like HermitCraft and SciCraft and there creators are fun to watch as well.
Update: Quackity himself just said that Wilbur is now kicked out of the new QSMP! Its over! For his reputation, career, AND his friend group! 2019-2024! 💀
All of your videos are so perfectly put together, I've learned so many things about my favorite streamers watching your videos. I've gotten emotional, hearing the stories of how my favorite streamers came to be, what they went through, how it all happened. Wilbur Soots career is one of a legend it's unexplainable really. I think you've done a great job of explaining it. It's unexplainable because of how it came to be and how it's gotten to where it is today but he has the biggest role in maybe the history of Minecraft. From pranking SMP Live to creating SMP Earth and writing most of the script for the Dream SMP. Truly legendary.

This is great! It's really inspiring to see the stories of the internet's most influential creators, and these documentaries have done a great job of displaying those stories for everyone to see. I really enjoy these documentaries, they're so amazing!
