Jonathan Ferguson, a weapons expert and Keeper of Firearms & Artillery at the Royal Armouries, breaks down the weaponry of Resident Evil 7, including the iconic Remington 870 shotgun, and the PP-19 Bizon-2 submachine gun, alongside some of the Baker family’s more unique contraptions.
In the latest video in the Firearm Expert Reacts series, Jonathan Ferguson--a weapons expert and Keeper of Firearms & Artillery at the Royal Armouries--breaks down the guns of Resident Evil 7 and compares them to their real-life counterparts.

They do also breathe fire, breathing fire being a rather common thing down here in Hell, since well, you're pretty much surrounded by it all the time. Not sure how the ghasts would hold up, but I'm pretty certain they would react poorly to having their eyeball ripped out ... as most living beings generally do. I am a bit surprised there was no mention of the Automag or the handgun found on the tanker. I do like how he could see that the 10 round magazine on the Glock was a compromise between realism and gameplay balance, as Resident Evil usually has characters with 10 to 15 round handguns at the start.

The team of engineers who developed the weapon was headed by Victor Kalashnikov, the son of the AK family creator and namesake, Mikhail. Another member of the design team for the Bizon was Alexei Drugunov... whose father, Yevgeny, created the SVD sniper rifle.
