I am majorly impressed with Alex’s ability to back a truck with a trailer with a car in tow on the front winch.
I was just coming here to comment on that badassery!
@@midnightrider8028I was as well!
I was thinking the exact same thing.
Drive with a trailer long enough and it becomes a lot easier thanks to my grandpa had me backing trailers up at 12 lol but he never did have me winch a car while backing up haha
Amen
Thanks for sharing the love of our diner!! FREE Monkey Bread to anyone that mentions COFFEE WALK❤
On my way.... take minute since i'm in MI.
Mmm monkey breas
I can't believe he reversed down the alley with the trailer still attached to the back of the truck and did it absolutely perfect. Great job!
He’s a pro. An average guy today wouldn’t be able to do that so well. Reverse - drive . Reverse - drive 1000000 times, swear words, and 2 hours. Me included. Lol.
Truck driving Alex
Yeah. That’s Experience!! Well Done. Buy that Guy a Beer or 6.
I was thinking the same thing, backing a trailer down a narrow drive and making sure you don't drag a car over your boss if he slips. well done sir.
Yes, he’s definitely a pro! I was drop jaw the whole time!
certainly enjoying the channel and the many barn finds. I appreciate the respectful way you treat the sellers and your staff, not to mention you don’t mind getting dirty
Even when they probably drive him crazy being under foot
@@rickb8538 Dennis definitely has a lot of patience and treats people with respect.
@@clickonprofile391 very generous of you, I was sincere in the way you treat everyone, clearly a part of your success as you come across as genuine
Dennis and Collins is just a "CLASS ACT", saving history in American one piece at a time! And treating people with the upmost respect and kindness!!! Thatk you for what you do and sharing thte fun with us!!!
*CLASS ACT* for sure
I say the same thing. CLASS!! (I won't even watch the Ass-Monkey anymore)
I’m always ready to see what’s happening when it’s a Mustang Fastback
They drag it out and load it.
This show gets better and better every week.
Got to meet Dennis,he is truly a very stand up man,and how you see him here and when on gas monkey on TV is exactly how he is in real life,so so nice
At last , an old school Coffee Walk ❤️😎👍
Dennis is a good boss at least he gets his hands dirty
He's kind of smug, though. Like a rich guy who likes to look at himself in the mirror!!!
I love the dude, and he treats his guys well, and quite honestly I’m sure most of us are jealous of the guy. But he only gets his hands as dirty as needed. Then again, in my world of live sound reinforcement, sometimes paying your dues means paying your dues. I’ve carried 1,000s of stage decks, and it gets old. They’re heavy as fuck, cumbersome as can be, tend to cut and break fingers and toes, ruin backs, and generally suck to move. If I’ve got to I do. But if I’m paying someone else to carry stage decks, I’m not carrying stage decks. Dennis has been pulling cars out of barns for at least 40 years. Personally I wouldn’t be able to keep my hands off that hidden gem of a whatever car. But that’s just me. We have an old saying. “If you know how to operate it, you don’t have to tote it!”
Mustang Fastback barn finds are getting harder and harder to find! Very cool find and I am betting someone will be happy to get it even after you take out the things you need!
I’d take it “as is” after he gets whatever he wants from it - just to have the shell of a ‘67 mustang fastback, one of my favorite cars ever…
Came for the barn find, stayed for American Pickers mini episode. Another great find Dennis, Alex and Zack!
OMG... LMFAO.... Denise's comment "My wife's got me over insured " 😂😂 GO Dennis GO!!!!!! 😂
From top of the line to mom and Pop's Restaurants you guys do them all, no one can acuse Yall of being Gucci, I love it.
Dennis - "I was thinking more like 200" Made me laugh out loud 😆
Thanks for coming to our hometown, Wichita, KS. We recognized the garage immediately because I grew up a couple houses north. In fact, the big blue house you drug the Mustang by was my family’s home from 1972-2021. We never knew what was hidden in that crazy garage! Surely I saw it drive down the alley numerous times - but why would a young girl notice those things? 😉 We enjoy the show! The little Doo-Dah Diner you visited is certainly a gem that is very popular in our town, because that is a fun nick name for Wichita - Doo-Dah! We enjoy every episode, this one was super special tho!
I don't remember the Doo-Dah. I guess I'm a little before it's time (66 now). I remember when the Civic Center was being built, got run off from there many times lol. Douglas and West of the river was my stomping grounds. Lots of memories from there.
,,,,,,,,,at 73 years here,,,,,,,,,,Love Kansas and ,,,,Mom and Pop American history........passed across Kansas in 1965,,,up to Nebraska to visit my dads Mom.....
I love that handshake to seal the deal. Reminds me of a simpler time
Dennis, you are an honor to your trade... and the manner you present yourself on you tube, gives me the impression that you're a good man. Continue to be an outstanding example as a fair man of business. 👍
Always an outstanding adventure, thanks for taking me along ❤
Dennis that surely was a low stress, fun time walking through history and the home of a horder.
You need to make a Coffee Walk coffee table book, showing your favorite restaurants and best car finds across the country. Or maybe just a food guide of some sort.
Great find, but is Dennis ever going to bring a good flashlight to these finds?
yeah he needs one of those 2k LED lights or one of those tactical flashlights
😅🤣😂 No !
I heard banjos when they said "high class, they got everything " good for Dennis kept a straight face and even gave it a nice review 👍. Thanks for another reason to watch your videos.
Dennis could not get out of there fast enough when Ole Chuck came along 🤣
Nice driving Alex!! Backing up in an alley with a trailer on one side and towing a car on the other! As Dennis would say…outstanding!!
Love seeing these mustangs being found. I've owned a 64 1/2 and a 66 both coupes always wanted a 1st gen fastback
Agreed. Had a neighbor family where I grew up and the father, his two teenage daughters, and son, and mother all had classic mustangs. This was out in the country so when they drove you knew it was likely them. Love these cars.
Alexis an amazing asset. What would you do without him? Bless all you guys, I love you.
creeeeepy
Your patience is amazing Dennis ! God bless you, your family and your employees !
I love your video's and watch all of them !
@clickonprofile482 I'm confused
It always makes me feel good watching Dennis's video's.
Every time I watch one of your clips it brings a massive smile to my face. Thanks all and keep smiling 😊
No way a place called the Doo-dah Diner could have bad food! Looked great. Enjoyed the video as always.
Including the biscuits and gravy, he missed out on ordering the monkey bread!
I think that many times I enjoy the extra random items that you guys come across almost as much as the vehicles you actually come for !
Can we please talk about that vintage huffy lawn tractor 😂 that thing is awesome
The The spinner is Dodge Coronet/Lancer late 50’s.
YES!
I'm over insured my wife's got me so insured. Lol. Dennis I love how you still to this day get involved in manually doing things. I don't know how old you are but never stop moving and you'll continue to enjoy what you do and what you do very well. You're a character and I can see why people like you. Congrats on finding kind of a donor expensive car to your problems
Dennis was full of humor on this one. Outstanding.
Another diner on the bucket list for my USA trip!
During reupholstery, you should get a fabricator to make a couple dozen duplicates of the seat frames. You can use them or sell them to other restorers.
Are the '67 DeLuxe seats different from standard as far as the frame itself is? (I have always thought '67 seats were a dime a dozen....)
My trick is if you have an air hammer and a tank of course, I like to hit the rotors and drums with the hammer head. Works every time.
Dennis, Your patience with people is astounding.....
Alex's pretty good about back in the trailer up! 👍
Dennis--you are most correct--Alex is the best thing you have got!
Best episode of 'American Pickers' i have ever seen!
1975 inspection sticker may be it was the last year the State did inspections. My State ended it in 1980 or so…. License plate may be accurate
Keep them coming Dennis, this was outstanding.
I enjoy all your car saves and especially like the Ford Mustangs.
Amazing still finding classic cars in barns.
Dennis the spinner is off of a 1959 dodge lancer 14 inch chrome spider hub cap and that cool mustang needs to be back on the road even if it gives up some key parts to other cool mustangs looking forward to next week Karl from eastern Canada
Thank you!!!!
I never had a boss like you...but now I see what I missed all those years!!!!
@@clickonprofile391 Thanks, Dennis. You really do right by your personnel...and it seems they truly respond/return that same effort and positive energy. A real gift from and for a "boss".
That was some awesome driving Alex. pulling a car abd backing a trailer out at the same time! Great work!
The character's we meet across the country, gotta love it!
Alex Backing up the truck and trailer while pulling the car You’re the man 😎
Nice find, strange to think that car was last tagged when I was a freshman in high school (1984), and likely not on the road since I was 7 years old and it is still in pretty dang great shape!! That meatloaf looked amazing and those two guys were a hoot!!
Got me buy a year. Freshman 85😁
Dennis, Alex & Zak - this was so enjoyable at every level...! Right thro’ to, if you closed your eyes with this ‘67, you could be listening to some of the incidental scenes out of ‘Bullit’...
You should carry car rollers to put under each tire and push it. Anyway I love how you get these barn finds. i collect like you in a smaller amount and bought and old car dealership to keep my cars and restore. Thumbs up!
Lol. That dude was the warden in Cool Hand Luke ! Lol. What we have here is a failure to communicate.
Strother Martin.
Hello, cool episode seeing what’s in people’s garages. It’s funny how only 2 people mention the Pontiac on the driveway. IT reminded me of a video where they found a 65 fastback and walked by a 1987 GN on the driveway. Thanks
As an ex owner of 2 Regal T type turbos, I fully agree.
Jimmy Osmond was the one who actually rode the bike on the Osmond Show
How about a shout out to Warn Wenches. Have to love the synthetic ropes as well
It’s a Gleaner combine! The little farm toy😂
I’m so jealous of all the cool finds Dennis is a lucky man I’m sure he has done his grind time to get here but man what a life cool job been watching for years always great!!
These are brave souls winching like that....stand in fronot of the winch and no damper. SAFETY FIRST!
*HEADS UP!* That front tire may have a flat spot on it.
A 1967 Mustang is a favorite of mine as it's what I learned to drive on.
Hats off to you Dennis, you're a good guy!
We need in the future a corvettes and Jeeps rescure with Dennis and the team
I will never stop being impressed when vehicles are pulled out of garages and barns like this.
Guy with keys...Cool Hand Luke. "What we got here is..failure to communicate".
I think that's the smallest meal you got yet!!
Thumbs up on the Mustang. The interior definitely not what you see normally on the '67's and 68's, at least not for me. Not so sure about the food since I didn't see you order everything on the menu. But it looked edible!
Great find ! Thanks Dennis
You can always count on Dennis for great videos 🎉🎉😊.
Alex can drive the wheels off that truck, backing up the trailer while pulling a mustang with the winch! I would have been all messed up!
Hi, you guys put out a great show every week, keep them coming, great to see the work you all do on those cars.👍👍.
Oh my! By far, my most favorite car ever!! Dream stuff🎉
Hope you had a good time here in Wichita. That's where I'm living. I would of loved to meet you guys and showed y'all around
All these comedians out of work.. And Dennis just giving away jokes..❤ N-joy 🕶
Keep the videos coming loving the content 😎
He don't care if the neighbors are able to get their trash hauled off or not, watta great neighbor he must be,😉👍, Dennis must've spent too much time around Rob, he's turned into a picker, lol, thanks for sharing guys.
That’s a cool car , watching every Saturday evening in the UK
Regarding the spinner center cap a 59 dodge lancer has something very similar, but the KNS accessories KC6022 has the flag logos you can still kinda see.
Very impressive "fast"back driving Alex. As always, Dennis I really enjoy your show and your respectful interaction with some of America's very interesting characters. Keep it up team!
Those Tonka trucks are worth a mint
Dennis they still make the swing bike in México. Of course it's a repop but the same bike . Beleive it's labled under the snake bike
i love when you meet interesting people D.
This is pure gold! 🌟 Love it!
Dennis Collins for President!
As long as he's not a Democrat.
He would do better than the dummy we have... For sure.😂😆
Fanboys...🙄
“Outstanding”
NO, we don't want the White House to be a junkie for old cars
Started with a Mustang Fastback.....then treasure appears everywhere!! Could have spent days sifting through the place with a big grin on my face of shear delight 😃
That hub cap looks like might be the bullet nose Studebaker with out the center
How is it that you guys don't carry wheel dollies with you? Definitely would help move those cars around.
A good show without Sean P
Dennis with the dad jokes 😂
Nice, red on red with the deluxe interior. 😉👍
Outstanding Dennis ,what car!🦾👊🦾🦾🦾🇿🇦
Very good backing up skills Alex! Impressive sir!
Thanks for coming Dennis!
Never get tired of these videos and greatful for the memories especially when they got my vette and charger .class act
I had the Police Mustang toy growing up. I hated the roof mount lights and removed them. Wow I had forgotten about it!
Cool guy you got that car from , friendly , knowlegable and ready to get rid of some stuff.
That one toy, looks like a combine. American pickers.... Hi Mike, Hi Rob!
“My wife has over insured me. I worth more dead than I am alive. “. 🤣 lmao
