I'll never forget the 8 hour drive I took with my brother as we headed from middle-Georgia to Florida to see my Grandfather one last time. We knew he wasn't long for this world and we were listening to songs and talking the whole trip, as we took his car since we attended the same college. At about 5 minutes out from my grandfathers house this song came on un-requested and totally random in the I-pod playlist and somehow it was perfect, all either my brother or I could do was stay silent as we drove those final moments looking at the road ahead of us staring out the windshield wondering what would happen next, listening to this song. Turns out he would pass on that same day after we all came to his bedside and uniformly declared we didn't want him to hurt anymore, it was spiritual. It was the first time I ever saw someone pass, it probably wont be my last but as long as I am alive I will remember that trip and this song. Thank you Coldplay.

We went to this pizza place for our first date and when we got out the rain had stopped. We took a stroll through a quint little downtown area, while admiring the beauty of the neon lights reflecting from the wet streets. As we walked a little more, there was this street singer sitting on a bench, playing guitar and performing this song, Yellow. I felt the song and kissed her passionately. In 2006, I didn't even like Coldplay. However, this song became our song and the word Yellow just meant different to us.
