Fun fact: tier 8 in this line does more dmg from 500m than tiers 9 and 10
yup. the higher the damage at 50m, the lower the damage at 500m+. the t8 has 400 damage at 500m on the stock gun, 350 at 500m on the top gun,, while the t9 goes from 350 to 300, as with the t10.
The t10 has a small pp its like a 90 mm with the same noise... Bizarre

Can you compare this tank to ISU 152? I feel like the playstyle is the same, just on open maps you have advantage with isu because you can do damage
In a way, Wargaming is trying to force players into close-quarters combat. By adding such vehicles and changing the maps. They don't take into account that not everyone likes this style of play
Yep, those idiots propably want battles to be even faster than now, under 3 minutes most likely.
And they promote heavy armor tanks that need gold to penetrate and then RNG us to death when using the gold. I have not been having fun playing the game recently(im bad) :(

This vehicle has brought me so much pain because of limited horizontal traverse. Feeling as if it's made for close quarters combat, but has no armor for it.

What app or settings is that to get circle distant markers on the mini map? Seems very useful.
Its simple settings. Ingame go to settings, stay on the first page (Standard or Basic idk my language is different) scroll all the way down, on the right side U'll see minimap settings with the four different circles.

0:55 - Use your gun depression. Yeah... uh... WHERE? Other than the occasional rubble pile you can mount to get the angle you're just an XP pinata for anything that's facing you because these things have to be idiotically close to compete with pretty much any other TD, many of which have armor and this thing... doesn't. I just hope the tier 10 has decent armor so it can get in and brawl without just getting taken apart instantly.

I guess rotation rammers and prolly optics for open maps haha due to very bad gun arc, binocs is really bad on it plus with the assault behavior it always move and can prolly tank dmg while diving in for the team which is why optics is better. City maps I guess I'd pick hardening.
This tank will be good in close quarter maps being top tier, which happens 20-30% of the times

I dont know if people are being greedy. They roll in kilana try to push aggressively and are sent to the garage. Every kilana i have faced in the past few days, tried getting closer so they can do more damage per shot and in process get wrecked themselves

this line have the same problem for me that the french tds have ..... huge aim time for a very narrow gun arc

First match. Kilana on both sides top damage. 700 alpha ist way too big compared to reload time. This will cause another imbalance in tier 8.

WG devised a way to allow players to remain in battle longer, show the killing shot so you can linger longer while pissing around looking at the killing shot.
And you of course cannot turn that crap completely off...

Stock, this tank moves and have the agility of a supertanker in the desert. I’ve even checked several times if I’ve forgotten to retrain the crew or something. Is it worth to upgrade tracks and engine on this mf or should I just skip to tier 9? Halp!

Everyone I have seen so far playing with Kilana was sniping on open maps, unlike you, and they should play with it in the same play style as you do.

Even in non wargaming games i prefer sniping roles.. WOT is punshing players who likes sniping and forcing them in close counter batlles to use Gold and they even changing maps and removing bushes so lights find difficulty in spotting for Snipers...
True. Playing light tanks is not hard because of hight skill requirement, playing lights is hard because most maps sucks for light tanks.
At 11:14 how the hell did the Gowika made a 457 dmg roll. The mothertracker has 420 alpha and is about half the map far from you so he should have a dmg penalty. Even with good RNG how does he come to 457? Jesus.... don't believe the mechanics.
I honestly hate this tank. I mean the gun slaps. But it's supposed to be a brawler. And after 30 games and having fully researched the tier 9 I have yet to have a game where the armor does not get penned like butter by same tier tanks.

Very overrated tank. After first 25-30 battles with noob protection, TD start acting normal.. i mean normal - very avarage accuracy, very bad stability but biggest problem is his teoretical armour. TD like that is made to fight close contact.. but close contact he bounce very rare. First bot on gold just snap it all the time. + 5 deg travers.. make it horible dependand from animals in team. No suprise, for me it was obvoius that it will be shit line like almost all new lines.
Almost 8/10 shells fall in front of enemy, to the ground!!! Even if its full aimed! The worst gun ever! Tier IX gun

In my opinion it's just a rip-off game. Everything that comes out is aimed at ripping off the player. For me, wot is characterized above all by dubiousness: the most unfair matchmaking, adjusting screw "RNG" depending on the needs or target group, constantly new junk tanks and events and changes with even more rip-offs as a result.

so far as I am playing thru this tank line it is total garbage. The tanks are slow to move and turn, have bad armor for the respective tier, gun is derpy and has really bad gun arc, very bad view range. I cannot think of any positives to suggest playing this tank line.
The mechanic from damage of distance makes just no sense... wargaming are a bunch of idiots.. doing anything to not fix other things like matchmaking, OP tanks, ...
