Cocaine Bear definitely raises some questions. Like how did this movie get greenlit? Why are there so many intricate human plotlines in a movie about a bear doing cocaine? Why did the bear spare those kids? HOW WAS THIS MOVIE GREENLIT!

You absolutely earned that bear pun after years of “Super easy, barely an inconvenience”. That was one of the best Pitch Meeting moments ever. (EDIT) I gotta say, while I hate it when people gush over their comment getting hundreds or thousands of likes, I’m completely blown away by popular this comment has gotten. Thanks to everyone for liking it so much.
Yeah, but I kind of feel bad for all the people who were planning to pull "Bearly an inconvenience" out in the comment section. Because you know there were going to be at least a dozen of them.

I really hoped the episode would end there, just awkward silence and nothing else.
The awkward silence while Producer glares and Writer waits for the reaction to his pun was just perfect.
I think between "Viagra dolphin", "give me the bear" and the interaction after "bearly an inconvenience" I laughed more at this than any previous pitch meeting.

Significant portions of this film were filmed in the Republic of Ireland. I know this because, one day while visiting a place called powerscourt waterfall in county wicklow, we saw a film crew and a fake ranger station and a big sign saying "Georgia State Park". I strolled over to one of the crew and asked him what was being made, and he said "a film called Cocaine Bear", and I seriously thought he was joking. Then I figured that was just a working title that would get changed before release. In case you were wondering, they were filming the bit where the ambulance pulls up to the ranger station

Ryan's dedication to create a catch phrase used in 300 episodes for this one gag is beyond impressive.

As I recall, there was a similar situation with the tank in the movie Tank. Not a lot of tank, because it turns out tanks are expensive, and breaking things with a tank is also expensive. Ah, the days of rental VHS tapes when you couldn't just go "this sucks" and stream something else. I don't miss 'em, to be honest.

Funny thing is, it's accurate to the movie. Watching writer guy go at length about the human characters sums up the amount of screentime the bear has in the movie. All the bear stuff is gold but whenever the movie pulls away from him too long it drags like a MF.

I had to come back and watch this again. I've seen this a dozen times. Though there no such thing as a bad Pitch Meeting, this one is my favorite! Loving the part about "Anytime we show the bear, that's CGI, so that's going to cost you money." "So tell me more about these human characters." ROFL.
Amazed at how Ryan can still do new things with Pitch Meetings. The twists and deviations from previous Pitch Meetings are innovative.

You should watch Archer, that's pretty much the show's sense of humor, introduce a joke and then build on it until they retire it with a bang.

Definitely one of the best Pitch Meetings in a while! The Viagra Dolphin being immensely more terrifying than cocaine bear is so imaginative that I still laugh about it whenever I think of it. Coupled with the long awkward pause after BEARly an inconvenience and producer guy begging for more cocaine bear had me laughing throughout. Good job Ryan, thank you!

As much as I love these pitch meetings, I want Ryan to get into writing screenplays for comedies. I don't want him to miss his calling.
Ryan is such a committed actor. Even though he was on break, he still let the crew film his break for a significant amount of time.

Ryan, your timing really is impeccable. I can't remember who said it, but a famous comedian relayed a story where he had an older comedian tell him, "You do something funny and keep doing it until it isn't funny anymore, then keep doing until it's funny again." You nailed that with the pause after the pun. And then tossing in the exact opposite line that we were expecting was just 🤌. Keep 'em coming, man
Yeah, the writing is great. The execution is incredible. Comedic timing makes or breaks comedy and he is a god.

Posting to share in the appreciation if the bear pun. That had me laughing, but I literally applauded the long pause, big smile, long pause, " yeah that was good" part. The eye blinks at the CGI costs of the bear pays off the "where's the bear" bit beautifully, and the "every movie should start that way" was also great. Just fantastic work sir.

That "Where's the bear?" joke went on for what would normally be wayyy too long but Ryan is awesome so it was fantastic and I'm still laughing!
I think it works at the length it is because the growing annoyance in punctuated with moments he's absolutely befuddled instead.

Nah, just means you have standards. Much better to spend an enjoyable 5 minutes or so on a funny video instead of wasting a couple hours on an extremely bad movie! Plus, of course, nothing says you CAN'T see the movie afterward. I mean, just cause I don't think I have done it doesn't mean it isn't possible...or so I think.
The movie was alot of fun though. Watch it with friends who are willing to get on a ridiculous ride. It's so over-the-top.
