In this Floyd Mayweather interview, I spoke with TBE following the Logan Paul vs Floyd Mayweather press conference (and Jake Paul "gotcha hat" incident) in Miami. This interview was recorded before the Logan Paul vs Floyd Mayweather fight at Hard Rock Stadium, which also featured Badou Jack vs. Dervin Colina, Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson vs Brian Maxwell, and others.

Floyd's a good dude. His energy says it all. Down to earth, genuine, kind, and grateful. Haters need to stop being jealous and work on themselves. Simple as that. 💯🙏🥂
He has great energy. Total contrast to the heel character he’s been portrayed as in the past. Genuine guy, hard not to be a fan. He paid for Joe Frazier’s funeral, and has done a lot of other good behind the scenes that’s not publicized.

I've been trying to say that as politely as possible. Greatness is subjective, but if we're talking stat-for-stat and dollar-for-dollar, Mayweather is TBE, period!

I remember your uncle training some time in Anderson,IN seeing the bus with Mayweather writing on the side... that was in the early seventies i moved to San Francisco in 1974

Floyd’s athleticism due to his hard work is amazing. An amazing boxer that will easily beat Logan haha
When I was in the locker room after the press conference he was doing a promotional shoot and let me tell you: he was in fight shape. Always appears that way. Mike Tyson said it best: Mayweatger doesn’t smoke or drink, because training is his drug.
What he said about having a good team around you is true. I always felt like I needed to do everything myself, but it’s beneficial to surround yourself with others who have similar goals and it’s even better if you’re never the smartest person in the room. Other people in similar situations can always give you insight that you haven’t considered.
That's 100% true. You will reach a point on your journey where you can't do all the work by yourself. You need a smart team around you that specializes in the areas you're weakest. Only way you'll grow!

Hard to argue that "50-0"
I wish he would stay retired. Obviously it will be great to see Floyd in the ring again but one day age is gonna catch up with him and I’d hate to see him lose because of going on for too long. He’s undefeated has loads of money, it would be a shame to go on for too long and end up losing. I know Logan won’t beat Floyd but he’ll beat Logan and then wanna fight someone else and one day his punch resistance or reflexes will go because of age and he‘ll end up losing to someone he shouldn’t be losing to.
Floyd too smart for that. The day it happens he will know for sure, before a fight happens.

I just searched "baby speed bag" on Amazon, and found ones that can attach to a baby carrier. So you never know. Given his record, I see no reason to doubt him. Tiger Woods was just a few months old when his dad and his dad would sit him in his hair chair and have him watch him practice golf.

This is true! Especially early childhood trauma, and Floyd suffered through a lot of it, given his upbringing (poverty, drug addicted mother, father in-and-out of prison). That's why he never drinks or smokes (not even weed).

He looked rugged, that's for sure. But Floyd is a smart guy. Very calculated. So I wouldn't put it past him to have kept the rugged look on purpose to give off the impression he's old or somehow 'doesn't have it' anymore, just to sew doubt and add to the spectacle of him fighting a younger, bigger, fitter opponent.

I think that's Logan's best bet, too. The problem is Floyd is the greatest defensive fighter of all time. So he's probably got plenty of tools to counteract that. Just watch him versus Canelo for proof!

For a lot of men, in particular (for a lot of different, complex reasons) it's hard for us to talk about our dads. I know Mayweather and his dad had a tumultuous past, so I give him a lot of respect for saying what he said here.
