2 months ago my daughter and boyfriend were issued a section 21 on their rented house, after 2 years of paying £750/month. The last 7 weeks have been awful. If only they realise the stress they are putting young professional people through. Both in full time jobs.

Well, I was a teenage Mum and I worked hard to keep a roof over our heads and food in our bellies. I was 16 too but I did a wonderful job with my daughter, she's a fantastic, hard working Mum herself now. I started work as a night cleaner and ended up assistant manager of a complex for people with mental health issues. Angela Rayner pulled herself up by her bootstraps, just like I did, and I'm proud of us both!
Anything is a better role model than someone who's born into wealth, for those that aren't.
