Toyota Tundra iForce vs IForce MAX -- WATCH BEFORE BUYING
Before buying a 2022 or newer Toyota Tundra, you need to carefully consider your engine options. Should you buy the standard i-Force non-hybrid or should you buy the i-Force Max hybrid powertrain? Let’s take a look at the driving characteristics, power figures as well as expected reliability so you can make a solid decision without wasting thousands of dollars.

  • I needed more towing than my Tacoma but nothing insane. So I went with the Tundra non hybrid and I have zero legitimate complaints. It’s not my daily driver and I only use it for truck things. I didn’t want the extra parts and cost of the hybrid. My Tundra hauls and tows cars and my tractor with ease 👌 my complaints are the electric parking brake and how big it is (first time buying a half ton) which are not valid complaints lol.

  • I think the author did a good job analyzing the powertrains choices. After all most truck users are interested in power and torque. The rest is just fluff, squishy seats, and android auto. 👍

  • Leave it to us full size truck buyers here in the states to opt for a crew cab and then complain about not enough storage space in the cab. If you buy a truck with a cab designed for comfortably seating 5 adult buffet veterans, why gripe about needing more room for stuff? A crew cab is designed for more room for people not room for stuff. Get a double cab and delete a rear seat or seats if cab storage is what's needed.

  • Already 2 mins in and I don't like this video. 1st we don't round up the size of an engine. Just give the spec. 2nd diesel engines are more fuel efficient. Europe uses them specifically for this reason, and now half tons have the option as well.

    • It's 3,449 cc so technically it should be considered a 3.5

  • I paid off my 2016 Tundra early and added 15k in upgrades. New trucks are overrated junk. It will last 500k and only has 137k on it now.
