  • what are the differences between the new 2024's and the current 2023 S-class? I dont see much change in terms of exterior/interior. I have read that autonomous driving is supposed to improve significantly. Do you agree that this 2024 car has trouble understanding many voice commands?

  • I'm an HVAC technician and I actually do the heating and air at a Mercedes dealership in Maryland USA and I was working up in the ceiling directly above an S-Class 2024 I was so nervous cuz I was working directly above a 214,000 car😂 definitely don't drop your screwdriver

  • What a bland, ordinary looking car despite its tippety-top rung on the MB ladder. It appears-as so many cars do-to be thoroughly influenced by Toyota's jelly bean code. (MB knows full well that consumers have come to associate Toyota reliability and lumpy shapes with good design.) I understand the attempt to create a flagship so discrete, quietly assured and dog-whistley that it disappears. Voilà ... This forgettable tank is the result. More dog than whistle, this vehicle will never occupy a high watermark of automotive design.

    • @@bigdavyable ... I came down hard on the design of this S Class, I know. I certainly DO see the notion of "quiet luxury" very hard at work in its lines. I also recognize the millions of dollars at stake at any point along the way if a car company messes up its signaling, vision, brand, etc. dampening sales, which necessitates extreme caution when it comes to design (and taking chances with design), which in turn has led to this timid visual approach.
