I love how when the three of them are dancing you get to see how they each interpret the music. Tom is giving us confident but reserved and is more “male”with it. Zendaya’s giving us female swag and playful personality. Meanwhile Deja is dancing it out like her rent is due 😂😂😂😂

You can see the Musical Theatre influence in Tom's dancing, much more precise and on point while Deja's and Zendaya's is more loose and relaxed

Really? Hmmm 🤔🤔. For me it’s just how well they each know the choreography. Zendaya and Deja make it look effortless. They are past merely executing the choreography and can therefore just play with it and make it their own. Tom is still executing choreography and you can see it in his face. To be fair, maybe he didn’t have as much time to learn it as the girls. But I don’t see him being “more precise”. I see him still learning the choreography and therefore staying within its bounds. When it’s just Tom and Deja, and they break and start doing different moves than each other at about 0:50, that’s when you can tell who’s really at home with it…whose movement is a function of the music and whose is more still choreography at that point. Deja looks like she might be freestyling with it here as compared to Tom who is doing a more basic step. I’m not hating on Tom. Boy can move. But I’m sure he can and does “get loose” when he knows the choreography. Besides, hip hop is less about technique per se and more about confidence, attitude and committed energy to your movements. Dancing Hip Hop is so much more than the movement itself.
