  • RDJ really is the perfect guy to play Tony Stark. I know he resents the role a little bit because it's so close to himself that he lost a bit of his acting skills he had to work to get back, but the world will always love the job he did. His own experience with drugs and alcohol also made him perfect for it. While they never did 'Demon in a bottle' in the MCU, it's still a core part of the character that RDJ embodies beautifully.

    • That should have been number two in all honesty... Ironman seemed to put up the most consistently reliable fight against Thanos out of everyone... Everytime he went at Thanos he embarrassed Thanos... compared to some of the others, like Thor, who seemed to never make up his mind on whether or not to go for the head. Cap who really only ever put up a fight the few moments after he took up Mjolnir then started losing again... I'd point Captain Marvel but Thanos did hit her with the full force of the powerstone which is where her powers came from to begin with. Scarlet Witch in Endgame damned near killed him but in infinity war she was not particularly strong against him. so at least hers is linear and not all over the fucking place.

    • His "I am Iron Man" statement wasn't just a callback to the first Iron Man movie when he revealed his identity. It was also a callback to the first Avengers movie when Steve Rogers said he wasn't the guy to make the sacrifice play. Tony made the big sacrifice and went out like a rock star. Outsmarted Thanos and saved the universe.

  • Ever since I saw the 1st Iron Man movie, I've always liked Tony Stark. A man who was smart, had morals, could back up his words with action (with the suit, of course, haha) was funny with his burns, & lastly, was an excellent mentor for Spiderman (as well as giving Spiderman a suit worthy for his abilities) RDJ took ownership of the role, palys Tony ZStark perfectly, made it his only, which is quite the feat given he hasn't always had the Stark lifestlye although a talented actor (just saying, delicately, haha) RDJ is Iron Man. Even had the PS2 game, which was pretty cool

    @jonathanbaron-crangle5093@jonathanbaron-crangle50937 ай бұрын
    • tony _developed_ morals. He really didn't start out with any genuine convictions beyond "be rich, get pussy, use people for my own personal gain". Without acknowledging that growth can we even really look up to him as a character? It honestly kind of scares me when I realize how many people think the original Iron Man was a good person simply because he had charisma. He may have been Iron Man, but the story of Tony Stark is one of learning how to become a man. Not to imply I know what you really think. I'm probably misunderstanding, or myself am mistaken. This _is_ KZhead after all, feels like its the damn birthplace of those two things sometimes.

  • Probably the greatest flex to me is the court scene in Iron Man 2. He makes a public fool of his rival Justin Hammer, and puts up a pretty good fight against the court trying to take his suits. He is so witty and I love it. Especially when they ty to pin him, only for hi to hack their systems and put up embarrassing evidence of his own showign the other countries and ven Justin Hammer failing miserabbly, especially Justin as his suit killed a man in a brutal way live on tv.

    • @@mcmaldek What doesnt make sense to you? Hammer stated the pilot survived. But the pilot cannot have survived an 180° turn in his waistline. His spine would be broken and the force of the turn was so big from the speed that the pain he experienced would have sent him into a massive shock, dying in the process.

      @graddeos@graddeos3 ай бұрын
    • @@graddeos No, I didnt say I don't understand it. I said it doesn't make sense. People break their spines all the time, get blown up, some have lost their entire bottom half and survived... "massive shock" isn't a medical reality, I suspect you just made that up right now to justify your claim... Shock is shock and though some can die from it, most don't. Therefore the pilot could have very easily survived. It's quite believable to say the pilot survived and less likely that he did not survive. So to say he's obviously lying when it is in fact not obvious... doesn't make snese.

  • Funny fact: the Shawarma scene was added after the filming had wrapped, so if you look at Chris Evans (Capt America) he's blocking the lower half of his face. When they did these reshoots (which all movies do, to either fix something or add something) Chris had a nearly full beard by then for another film he was working on. He couldn't lose the beard, because the other film wasn't done shooting yet, so they just had him block the lower half of his face.

    @Administrator_O-5@Administrator_O-56 ай бұрын
  • I only just learned this recently but the shawarma scene in avengers was actually filmed after production had wrapped up for the movie and Chris Evans was already cast in another role with different facial hair. So they had to get all the actors back together to film it and cap is posed so you can’t see his face

  • It sucks that Iron Man is dead, he'll never meet Mister Fantastic or Deadpool. It would've been such a paradigm shift to see Tony not be the undisputed smartest guy in the room since Reed is smarter than him in every possible way. Tony would also see Peter gravitate more towards Reed than him which would've been really interesting to see especially on the 616 Illuminati. And with Deadpool, no screenwriter would be able to properly write a scene with those two, it would just be Robert Downey Jr and Ryan Reynolds going back and forth throwing improvised lines at each other and it would've been amazing. Sucks we'll never get to see it.

  • This was a very good video! And there's no doubt RDJ is Iron Man!! He was born to play that roll. That's why he hasn't been able to top it by playing any other character in any other movie since that roll. And i don't think there's another roll that he can play to where he will get as much positive praise as he does with playing in the MCU. Which is crazy because most actors when they get in that situation it's a bad thing for their career. And it's funny that after End Game Kevin feige said no more Iron Man. We're not going to keep going back to that character to save the franchise. Well? That's the only play the MCU has right now to get people back in the seats. RDJ could get a blank check from Marvel and Disney to come back and play that part. I would bet that RDJ will make history with the amount of money that he's going to receive to come back and play that character. Him and Chris Evens. Thors last movie sucked because they won't get rid of that director. His behind closed doors sicko self and what he's into he was allowed to brought it to the big screen and it totally ruined love&thunder. So now there's only 2 characters that's in a position to save and make bank for there selves and for the companies. IRON MAN & CAPT. AMERICA.

Plus, the mark 2 was later on taken by rhodes, which in iron man 2, became the war machine, loaded with weapons by hammer industries. And yeah this is completely different as the mark 3 suit was made with a gold - titanium alloy and got painted in hot rod red, this was done as to solve the icing problem faced by him during his testing of mark 2 and him trying to break the altitude record of the sr71 blackbird. Plus this suit had a heated underlay to maintain temperature inside the suit and also to keep the ice from forming on the surface of the suit

  • Captain america showcases bravery. Thor shows power. And Iron Man shows intelligence. The few times they worked together, they got the job done. Its sad realizing their fight between thanos together will be the last we see all three fighting together

  • You keep talking about Ironmans flexes, but you missed the greatest flex of all and the number 1 reason RDJ will forever be "Ironman". RDJ was told personally by Stan Lee, that he was perfect for the role of Ironman. The creator of the marvel universe told him he was worthy of his role. Basically God told Ironman he was perfect.
