The nuance and musicalty he has with his note selections are subtle but they draw you in and make you want to listen again and again. I watched this once then again and I heard a completely different version than I first heard. The brain fills in what it wants too when you have such a familiar melody. The 2nd time was even better. I have had his top 24 performance on repeat since I heard it.

Jack seems to understand that he's doing fine and he's just using this as an opportunity to learn, promote himself and if he wins, even better. His rocket is already on the pad. I still remember when he got voted off auditions and he got called back. He sounded good to me but just needed that push because he already had talent. Glad Luke had a feeling about him to bring him back in. Love his voice and style intonations with his mouth quirks. Great rendition.
