  • Congrats on the record. It also shows what a great car the Senna is. The Senna is track focused but a street car. It can hold a passenger and can do normal car things. Not sure this new car is even in the same category. The F1 battery cell is probably half the price of a Senna. With all that aero and tech no wonder it’s faster. It’s definitely a beautiful piece of engineering though! Nice to see an American company pushing the limits.

    @drewhoffman1461@drewhoffman14612 жыл бұрын
    • Yes and I can't stop thinking about the fact the Senna is running on Trofeo R, not Cup R nor Supersport RS. So its laptime would definitely be improved with those tyres fitted. I'm not impressed by that record, the car is lighter and far more powerfull than the Senna. Thiw shows how far McLaren has gone with the Senna for a road legal car.

    • I can only assume that neither the Senna nor this car can show its full potential on this track. There are too many slow/tight corners that lowers downforce because of low speed. Particularly that stupid corkscrew. But I only know the track from Sim Racing and I hate it for that reason. I'd like them to run a lap on the Nordschleife and then I'll give my judgement about the cars performance.

Valkyrie is obviously not (and probably just street legal in UK and countries like UAE). Still, I would love to see Koenigsegg prove that their Jesko can compete with the like of 21C, Valkyrie, T.50, AMG One, and so on.

      @budokpantai@budokpantai2 жыл бұрын
    • @@budokpantai I am assuming this C12 is a prototype, we don't know what markets it's homologated for just yet but if you can homologate design for NA markets you can usually meet homologation for any market. The Valkyrie meets homologation for Asia, Europe and Africa but not for US or AU although both regions have cars coming to them. AMG Project One and T50 I am not sure of either but I am almost certain cars are making their way to every market region regardless. In terms of performance on paper the JESKO should be the fastest after the Valkyrie but whether that checks out in reality is left to be said. The T50 will no doubt the the slowest due to its drivetrain. It's not really built for raw performance but rather a pure engagement.
