the moment I watch this video, it reminds me of one thing. "Seeing is believing" do u know why creativity is endless ?? It is endless because we let our mind flow we ideas we learn from everyday thing. The only reason it would have a limit is because of another individual who doesn't have the knowledge or information for such creativity capabilities. Everything we want to achieve is possible, everything we can think of can be done regardless.
Have you thought about an analogous design for arid hot regions. Instead of solar gain one wants solar reduction, such as shade mesh or a thick layer reducing UV radiation but allowing air to pass through. I would like to do something like this...
Sssssuperb! Architecture at its very essence. Really admired the Eden Project. From the schematic design phase up to the structural and operation. Really really loved this project. Still wondering how deep are the foundations though? :D
Anyone have any links to share regarding the pressurization system for the ETFE pillows used here or any leakage rates for N2 or air across ETFE membranes?

is it insane? ive been wanting to do something similar and even better than this with giant green houses, since 1993 and grow a preflood world dinosaur park. I want to build a preflood world biosphere.

take away the realestate board that has a hand in controlling housing in the cities. And allow comonscense\ wisdom to take hold and this or other dome-like structures would be a great solution to the tornado alley problem of the american south. Loss of life and property would drastically be reduced!!
what about birds? other pollinators? surely it can't be plants alone... otherwise the ecosystem is just a kind of 'plant zoo', its not a functioning ecosystem at all. Just saying....
