Yes, the Roanoke colony went with the Native people, the guy didn't come back for 3 yrs. It wasn't a 3 hour plane ride, 😂 nor just a sailing trip to Jolly Ole England, he was gone for years. What did he think would happen?

The client names in Jeffrey Epstein's black book. We will NEVER see the full list.

They run away with your missing Tupperware containers...
The FBI and the CIA need to investigate this. I think it's a global conspiracy by big underwear.

Life's greatest mystery... sock disappearance is a global plague.
Watchmojo could have also included the Man of the Hole who lived in the Amazon rainforest. He was the last surviving person of an uncontacted tribe in the Amazon. He died in 2022 due to natural causes. His culture, his language, his identity are forever a mystery.

I once saw a documentary about the amozonian indigenous people who recently found modern society. They talked about how they were always cold and hungry, that they loved having clothes and food. It should be here on KZhead, but it was strange how quickly they adapted to modern life. They even confessed that now they feel embarrassed when they are naked. I always thought they wanted to live with nature but turns out they prefer modern society.
@@HAIRHOLIC_1 I saw that documentary and I remember being surprised about the woman saying she was embarassed that she used to be naked.

Attila the Hun's conversation with Pope Leo I. Back in 452 AD, Attila and the Hun armies were set to attack Rome, when Emperor Valentinian III sent a peace delegation to meet with him, including among their number Pope Leo I. Attila and the Pope spoke in private for a while, and then Attila departed, pulling his troops out of Italy. The details of their conversation and what exactly the Pope said to get Attila to spare Rome have been lost to history. Some claim that Pope Leo showed Attila a vision of Saints Peter and Paul protecting the city. Others believe that Attila was afraid he would meet a similar fate to Alaric, the Gothic king who died shortly after sacking the city, if he attacked. Less fantastic theories claim that Pope Leo bribed Attila to go away, or pointed out that the Huns were low on supplies and suffering from plague at the time.
lol I think he just told him how many people lived in Rome.
Moreover, the location of Attila's tomb is still unknown. Legend has it that the Huns changed the course of the River Tisza, buried him, then let the river return to its original course. So the tomb is supposed to be in the riverbed (a very unlikely legend, if you ask me). The people who knew the location of his tomb met the same fate as in Genghis Khan's case.
The best bet to find Greek fire today is the deep-water black sea shipwrecks; one of them may have cargo of Greek fire.
How about napalm?
you know they figured out Roanoke right? they intermarried with local indigenous tribes. they've had the evidence in DNA for ages.

Occams Razor applies to the Roanoke Colony - the dude didn't come back for 3 yrs 😂. They wanted to live, so they went with the Native people. Why is that so hard to get?
Its not that its hard to get, its that there isn't enough evidence to support it conclusively.
@@iamthelaw2828 evidence is they didn't find their skeletons on Roanoke Island
@@susannpatton2893 lack of evidence is not evidence itself
@@iamthelaw2828yeah... but we figured out DNA shortly after the OJ trial (we knew then but 12 idiot Americans couldn't understand it).
@@tylerbarnard4777 Yes, but there is some evidence of them leaving being accurate, with the only reason it being uncertain still is because John White gave up on trying to check because of bad weather. Even in his journal, he wrote, with different words, that the colony did what he had instructed them to do in case they had to leave (indicate whether they were forced out or left by choice based on the inclusion of a Maltese cross, of which none was left, so it likely was voluntarily) and left for Croatoan Island, now known as Hatteras Island. So while there isn't 100% confirmation, there is pretty strong evidence supporting the belief that the colonists left for Croatoan Island, likely to join the Croatoan, Hatterask, and Kinnakeet villages there. And that would make sense, since the colonists were having problems with food shortages, so joining with people who had lived for centuries there would have been in their best interest. It's something that may not be able to verify anymore with complete certainty, but much like any historical event, we can make an assumption based on information known that we have the correct answer.
Not a conspiracy theorist just a truth seeker
Simply put, one will never know all the secrets on this earth. Many secrets are taken to the grave, unless the one with the secret wrote it down before their existence is extinguished, and who finds the secret, may or may not share.
Tesla had like 70 something boxes of files, but only 60 something were claimed to be found. The FBI, OSS, or whatever branch back then definitely took them from the room after he died 😡😥 I can only imagine the incredible discoveries and inventions from him that will never be shared 😤😖😭

Surface ship Navy vet here. Had a few friends in the sub service, including one guy stationed on a boomer. Those guys believe there are only two kinds of ships - subs and targets. Personally, I never had a desire to go on a ship that sinks on purpose. Cheers....
From my retired sub husband: all ships sink. Only subs are designed to come back up. But submariners are just about as crazy as fighter pilots, from what I know of fighter pilots (which, admittedly, isn't much.) I'll tell you one thing, after years in the sub community: I have nothing but the greatest admiration for the courage and dedication of the sailors who serve on submarines. Thank you for your service.
@@sarahkeller-vp6hqI have only admiration for my shipmates in the submarine service. Being a surface sailor is hard enough, but I can imagine it is as rigorous, if not more, than anything I experienced. I appreciate the sacrifices your husband made and thank him for his service. Cheers....

The Coca Cola secret is marketing hype. Like clockwork, every few years, there will be some controversy in the media about it, and we're all reminded that CC is so very special. It is the best out there, in my opinion, but I don't believe for a second that this recipe hasn't been changed, optimized, and altered, all carefully tested of course for consistency, to make it easier and cheaper to make, and better to preserve. Coca Cola is a business, after all, and there's no old dude behind the scenes calling the shots on whether the company can change the formula.

@@stardustmeatbag Well, hopefully it's been to the laundry a couple of time. Why would we need to see it? That's just ghoulish.
@dougerrohmer I don't personally NEED to see it, but considering that most people in the US has seen the photo of her in the dress when LBJ was sworn in on Air Force One, I think it's a combination of historical significance and morbid curiosity. Greek Fire. What about Damascus Steel?
Greek Fire, sounds just like Napalm, float on water cannot be put out by water, sticks to skin (and everything else). So that recipe must be pretty close.

There's the formula for "Fog Bank" that was lost for years. The experimental aircraft, known as "Avenger". The torpedo that "flies" through the intentional use of cavitation. The experimental aircraft, known as "Pico" (sp?) that can be launched from a submerged submarine. (And many others.)

I'm married to a now retired submariner. I know more than what you told, and you completely left out the SSNs. You talked about Boomers (the SSGNs that used to be SSBNs, but not the Fast Attacks, which are named for cities) and completely left out the newest classes, like the Sea Wolf and the Virginia classes. I can't tell you much, but I can tell you that the men on those boats are amazing people. (They just started putting women on subs; it was a berthing thing. There was literally nowhere on the older boats for women to have private sleeping quarters.) And, yes, subs are boats, not ships. But all of these people live underwater, sometimes for months, without seeing the sun. When they come home, it is strongly suggested that they not drive for the first few days until their depth perception resets after only having the short sightlines on the boat. It's the one part of the Navy where officers and enlisted are the closest. They're in that small space together and have to rely on each other so much that it just happens. To be fully submarine qualified, the enlisted guys have to learn about every system on the boat, just in case they end up the only one conscious. They know that if something goes really wrong, it will likely end in a recovery, not a rescue. (A great quote from The West Wing, but pretty accurate.) Though the U.S. does have the best rescue equipment in the world; we might have been able to save the men on the Kursk if Russia had let us. There's a LOT more, but I would never risk any of my boys' safety by possibly saying too much. Just know that those boats are out there, under water, protecting us, not only even, but especially because we can't see them. If you're someone who prays, maybe remember them today.

Here’s the problem with the Lost Colony: John White didn’t look that hard when he returned to Roanoke. There was a bad storm rolling in that day (maybe a hurricane?). Some people died during the excursion to the island. So, a simple investigative actions, like visiting the Croatoans, were never accomplished. There is a lesser-known diary entry dated 20 years following White’s return trip from a lesser-known colonist who stated that he did meet a couple of the people from the Lost Colony. They were definitely English people with English accents wearing native attire. They said that they were a part of the Roanoke colony and resettled at the invitation of the Croatoans when they were struggling to stay alive.

My father was a local government official. He and my mother were given notice they would be moved to a nuclear shelter to restart the country in the event of a nuclear war. The existence of this plan and the shelters was not widely known by the population at large. Speaking of nuclear war, the letters of last resort really are a unique mechanism to ensure a retaliatory nuclear response from the UK. The location of the four nuclear submarines are not known by anybody once they leave the UK. The commander can fire the missiles under his/her own command if the UK is attacked. The submarines are undetectable, nobody knows where they are and nobody in the UK needs to send an order to launch. It is an ingenious, unstoppable dead man's switch.

The common consensus is that the ashes were scattered in Lake Geneva, probably near Montreux, a favorite retreat of Freddie where Queen did some recording. ("A Winter's Tale", from the posthumously released album Made In Heaven, was actually inspired by the winters he spent in Switzerland)
Bullshit . I've seen Freddie's grave and grave marker . Freddie isn't his real name . He has a European name.
Who cares about Freddie Mercury? The real mystery is whether Kurt Cobain actually killed himself or not. I wonder if that will ever be clarified.

Trump’s Uncle was the scientist assigned by the US government to go through all the Nikola Tesla’s research.
Is that where the Trump money comes from? It certainly doesn't come from Donald.
Yes, we know. Donald reminds us on a daily basis about his "great genes"

Ah, right. I love how people think it's easy to keep wealth even when given to them. It's much more work to keep it. A third of lottery winners end up broke.

I don't know if anybody outside of the UK are aware of the lost super material Starlite that didn't conduct heat. It and was invented by a hairstylist/amateur chemist. It was demonstrated on TV show Tomorrows World and looked set to change the world but the inventor died before he could patent it!
The Roanoke mystery was solved within the last year or so. They found items in North Carolina pricing that the people went to that area.
The Coca-Cola recipe was released by mistake in a popular Norwegian magazine. So it isn't a secret anymore 😉

Thank you for the update, WatchMojo..!! 17:12 The Three Wisemen were waiting for Jesus to be born, so he can be taken to their monastery when the time is right. The same story of holy men waiting for a new holy baby occurs frequent in the ancient Vedic texts as well. He was probably taken to Tibet to remember his past lives and to gain back the Siddhi power.
Those subs are known as SSBNs, not G - and in fact the US government always knows exactly where they are.
The answer to 10:20 is 9:53
Based and I like it. What's funny is WatchMojo here and a lot of these lemmings in here that just hate Donald Trump, these are the same people that told all of us 4 years ago to stop being conspiracy theorists and to just take the covid-19 vaccine like good stupid children... While here in the comments they will talk about how they think the government created HIV in order to wipe out the black community or to wipe out the gay community or whatever some such nonsense rooted in political correctness.
I am still bummed they took away the cocaine from coke. Or laudenum for the ladies!
