THE ROOT OF BITTERNESS

I am very resentful and bitter with my husband. I have suffered many year of emotional abuse, gas lighting, smear campaign, financial abuse name them all. Lately his mere smell makes me nauseated. I literally feel like throwing up. Am a child of God and I know these feelings are not from Him. I asked him a few days ago to heal me. Then I bump into this teaching. He is out to give me a healthy mind.

So much healing taking place. I read the comments abd my heart is bleeding. I pray for grace for everyone hurting to receive healing.

I don't know what lead me here but I know Jesus did!!! My heart is filled with so much pain and anger, from my parents marriage to very toxic and failed relationships, to my sisters marriage and finally to me vowing never to show my good side nor be vulnerable to any man. I just go around with so much bitterness, don't quote me wrong because I'm the sweetest and most trustworthy person but I'll never show any of this just to anyone. I've no friends and I'm just going out and coming in to myself everyday, my secluded lifestyle has worsened my situation. Lord Jesus I am ready to let go of all these pains so heal my soul. I cast all my burdens unto you for you care for me. Being able to let go of my ego and write this part of me publicly is a sign of my new found strength. Old things are now past away. Hallelujah 🙌🏻🙏🏻

Sometimes I take a break for days from listening to these sermons because I don’t want to cry

Heal me oh Lord from my past and my pains

I have been battling with this healing. I come from a dysfunctional home and made up my mind not to marry. Unfortunately i married and i had a mind set that no man will treat me the way my father treated my mum. I suffered abuse in my marriage. The beatings, emotional, verbal and finacial abuse. After 8 years was sent away from that home with my two children. The eldest was 7 years and the younger was 5. I have raised them alone with the help of God. But over the years this bitterness has degenerated to an extent that it began to affect my relationship but i thank God for your teaching my son sent to me last year. This message here is healing coming my way. God bless you pastor femi lazarus.

At the end when Apostle said “ you’re a sweet mother, you’re a sweet wife. you’re a good woman”. It almost felt wrong to hear because I don’t see myself as someone who is even closely remotely deserving of love even from God, life is very challenging and I always feel like it’s my fault. I pray God heals my heart and makes life a little easier for me ❤❤❤

Sir, may God bless you. However, I believe your mention of bitterness and pride within the apostolic movement reflects your bias, and there is nothing wrong in that, but it is a bias. Apostles who were reformers were often confrontational. In Paul's era, some might have labeled him as proud and bitter, yet the spirit of reformation was at work . Ultimately, everyone should remain faithful to their own calling, and the outcomes will testify for themselves.
