Im 6 foot even and have slept 6 foot 8; 300 lbs people before with it. I was a bouncer and hated hitting the nose because of the mess. The jaw though takes the problem out with less mess

  • MMA organizations should penalize the fighters that hit an oponent that is clearly KO'ed with a fine and a suspension (both hefty) for each hit delivered after the oponent was knocked. Until they dont do that on the propper manner this things are going to keep happening until somebody is severely injured or dead. There are several examples of this, stop it already!

  • Why the f do so many people need a ref to pull them off beating an obviously ko'd dude. There's a difference between savage and psycho. What honor or skill or conscience in damaging a completely defenseless unconscious man? Of course there can be situations when someone's caught up in the moment and doesn't realize. Even in those cases, they should be more aware. Awareness is respect to the fact that life and death are literally at stake. Those aren't the moments I'm talking about, though. I'm talking about when it's intentional, which is now so common it's treated as normal. It's completely disrespectful to the spirit and traditions of thousands of years of martial art exhibition match culture, excluding corrupted aberrations like the gladiatorial arenas before the fall of the Roman Empire. I would never actively assault an unconscious opponent in a sport match. It's the worst thing about modern MMA. EDIT: in case anyone read this far, and hasn't considered what I'm saying here to be serious, here's a copy-paste from a recent news article.... "CNN): Boxing- It's a sport which can be a matter of life and death. Between 1890 and 2022, it's estimated that 1,864 boxers died as a direct result of injuries sustained in the ring, according to the reported data that has been collected. That is an average of 14 deaths a year. As of 2023, there have been seventeen recorded deaths resulting from sanctioned mixed martial arts contests and nine from unregulated bouts since the inception of UFC, Bellator, and the rise of organized MMA in North America." Combat sports are extremely dangerous and can be lethal. Assaulting an unconscious opponent is absolutely inhumane.

    • Exactly mate - I watched the video and the thing I saw and was disappointed in most was the blows after the opponents are clearly defenceless and sometimes unconscious. Absolutely no need!

    • @@dominicorange1468 Thanks for reading my long book here about it and thank goodness there are other sane people in the world. I used to compete in MMA. In years of competition matches, I never saw anyone do that. Obviously, a lot of the fans of the sport like to see it, so that's part of the problem I think.

    • @@Jason-Moon Spot on buddy. I actually wanted to read the comments to see if anyone else noticed it. I fought on the streets growing up 30 plus times and always stopped if somebody had had enough. fortunately the one time I was knocked out the lad left me alone too.

      @dominicorange1468@dominicorange14684 ай бұрын
    • @@dominicorange1468 I had similar experiences growing up. Too many fights to mention and most of them against groups of guys. The mismatch in numbers- for me- directly speaks to who was defending and who was offending. I've been training in martial art formally since I was 11, and I know the difference between defense and offense very well. It's an important difference to me. The difference between right and wrong you could even say. Glad you made it through all that, brother. I'm glad I made it too. I very nearly didn't quite a few times. Jumped by upwards of 10 guys once- stabbed in the back of the head while 2 guys were restraining me. The intention was to stab me in the face but I ducked my chin down and the knife went through the back of my skull. I lost so much blood they had to give me blood transfusions in the hospital to keep my heart pumping. I find it tragic that when I share my past history of fighting, most people assume I was at fault. That's an indication to me that there's something wrong with the person who I've chosen to share my experiences with. What a world humans have made here on Earth. I find it to be largely a society of evil. Yet I believe in free will. I believe we all have the potential for good and evil within us and it's up to each one of us to choose which path to take in our actions. Most people seem to be comfortable staying right in the middle: do a couple bad things and they feel bad about themselves so they do something good to feel better. Then they do a couple good things and feel like they've somehow earned the right to do something bad again and they just teeter back and forth on a pivot where they're most comfortable not really ever choosing a side. Someone who really commits to being good and someone who really commits to being evil- those people are more rare in my experience. Since those who choose evil are deceptive, they often easily manipulate and influence the minds of uncommitted people and win their favor. Whereas those who choose good allow others to make their own path and can only help by providing example.

    • @@Jason-Moon Agreed brother. Very insightful and meaningful words. I do try and be a good person, I stumble at times but fundamentally feel I try (and mostly) succeed in making the world a better place. I always try to look for the good in people although it isn't always there of course. I think you and I would get on very well! Take care my friend. x
