  • woww, who knew ladybugs went through so many gross "ugly duckling" stages before they eventually turn into cute adorable little ladybugs.

    @BothHands1@BothHands14 жыл бұрын
    • There's nothing "ugly and duckling" about it. It's unique to be honest.

    • VegCeps sure, they're definitely unique, but also little creepy crawlers. but before they get wings, especially the first few stages, they look like straight up maggots. and even when it does get legs, it looks like mosquito larvae.

    • @Normal Boy Rude why you gotta put others down...dose it make you feel good about yourself...just cuz your behude a screen doesn't mean your not hurting someone's feelings.And just because you weren't talking to me dont mean nothing.This also effects other ppl cuz ppl who think the eat food for a month and ppl who personally lnowvthat person who think they have the same shape as that person take it very seriously.If your a kid 7-i dont know 12 then you need to think before you speak and if your a teenager stop being mean you know what you said is wrong idk how you have 3 likes and if your adult you should be ashamed of yourself talking to ppl and putting them down.Teens especially take that ver seriously the could start thing that fat cuz you said mean stuff and then they could starve themselves or try and loose wieght and might not succeed which could lead to them trying and trying and getting so made its hard for them they could kill themselves.And its all cuz you had to open your mouth and say something.Dont got any nice to say dont say it at.Stop hateing and spread positivity🥰💖✌🏾

  • My granddaughter & I love ladybugs. I had one once for 9 months. It was almost winter when I found it & it had a damaged wing so I put it in a clean peanut butter jar with a few branches & leaves I found. I fed it apple & cantaloupe slices. I loved watching it & kept a clean jar to put it in & clean the old one. My granddaughter saved one in the pool at an amusement park & held it until it could fly away. We have held many & have never gotten bitten. 💕🐞

I don't think I'll be able to release him, he barely has any legs.

Your house is on fire and your kids are all alone." Then we would gently blow her onto a plamt. Good luck if you didn't hurt ladybugs my mum would say. Anybody else do this? No just my wacky family.

    • Ooh! I can help on this subject! This is sooo ancient that they don't know when it started, though it was first published as a nursery rhyme in 1745 or thereabouts. (There are a bunch of variations, ladybug/ladybird, your house is on fire/ your horse is on foot, your children are all gone/all alone/shall burn, all except little Ann/Nan and she is hiding under the frying pan/pudding pan/porridge pan/warming pan OR little Aileen hiding under the soup tourine OR little John hiding under the grinding stone.) The theory I like holds that it is an old farming song. Farmers would sing this song before they burned their fields in the hope that the helpful insect would fly home rescue their baby ladybugs so that the next generation could protect their field the following year. Ie, it was kind of a warning, not a threat.

  • In each stage of complete metamorphosis, the animal looks different than at all other stages. This is different from incomplete metamorphosis where the early stages of development look like tiny versions of the adult. Butterflies are an example of an insect that goes through all the stages of complete metamorphosis. Complete metamorphosis begins with the insect hatching from an egg into a soft worm-like shape called a larva. Larvae have a very big appetite and can eat several times their own body weight every day. If humans did the same thing, babies would start out eating as much as 10 pounds of food each day. For insects, this super-sized larva diet makes them grow very fast.
