What does "Combing the Tracks" supposed to mean/entail? Will there be a followed video explaining the Allied defense strategy?
Combing the tracks as far as I know means to turn towards the direction of the torpedo. This allows the ship to have a smaller profile where the torpedo can hit (broadside vs bow). It was meant to be done here but due to a confusion of signals, many ships who were supposed to turn to starboard towards the torpedos didn't.
@@pikenotethat and much like tank armor the torpedo has a way higher chances of a glancing off the side of the ship instead of directly impacting and taking on the water and damage

I knew a man who was on one of the ships durning one of the convoys. I'm not sure of which convoy. The allied ships were not given any cover during the trip. His ship was attacked. The ship was damage. The captain set fires, using mattresses, the german pilots, thinking the ship was sinking, did not continue to bomb the ship. The ship made it to Russia. George's part in the war would not end until a couple of years later.
Why use Spitfire models for the German planes? it might confuse people not familiar with plane models
