    • From my point of view I'm not agreed with the Goat debate, cause it makes us thinking one player is upper than his opponents. Federer and Nadal also deserve having credit cause all they've done in their careers instead of fighting about who is better.

    • Great execution of the on the rise backhand DTL from Novak indeed - he needs to do that more on clay especially against guys like Sinner and Alcaraz if he wants to cut rallies short and hug the baseline. Lately, it seems that he's been letting the rallies extend and rely on the drop shot to switch things up but anyways, I digress ;)

    • Nobody else has anywhere near as many wins against Nadal on clay as Djokovic so I think that he knows how to do it. In the last ten years its 7-5 on clay to Nadal (and 10-0 off clay to Djokovic)

    • @@Deerjason like never winning Miami, Paris Bercy, Shanghai, ATP Finals even once in 20 years... (4/7) over half the annual Big Title non-slam hardcourt events. Lack of versatility. That's why Rafa is the all-time record holder for weeks at number 2 and Djokovic is more than double him for time as the world's best player.... Djokovic has won every Masters and BIg Title event at least twice and just needs one more Monte Carlo to have won every one of them three times. Nobody else has even done it once.

So it's clear, Djokovic is GOATovic.

    • he has had a slow start to clay for many years but maybe he will be more motivated this time? He has won every Masters event at least twice and just needs one more Monte Carlo to have won every one of them at least three times - the Triple Golden Masters. Nobody else has even done it once.

    • @Slickk_007 he hasn't had a good start to clay at Monte Carlo in nearly 10 years. Monte carlo's court pace index is 24.9, Rome 22 and Roland Garros 21. That reason of younger players was not applicable for all those years because it wasn't the actual reason. He's been a slow starter on clay for so long.
