  • Always trust your gut. In the 80's when I was living in Europe, we had an older man come to our house twice, trying to sell us knives. He was about 65 or 70 years old. Yes! The kicker is that I felt he had no good intentions at all, and obviously never opened the door to him. It turned out, he was later arrested for burglary and killing. Nowadays it might seem obvious to not open the door to someone selling you anything, but back then, it was quite common to have a peddler come up to houses and sell on foot. Always trust your gut. If you feel something is off about a person, walk the other way, or get out of "Dodge."

      @mariejmch@mariejmch3 жыл бұрын
    • I scream yeah it’s what I say like 99% of the tome you’re right to rationalize because you’re over reacting about something you made up in your mind but that one 1% when you rationalize but shouldn’t ( because 99% of the time there’s nothing bad ) it’s scary. You really never now if you’re on the 1% or not. It’s why I always over react, so the one day I’m at 1% I will be right

He 100% did not confess to all of his murders because he plead not guilty the whole trial and shortly before his execution he confessed to 30 murders to buy time. If he had confessed to all of his crimes, they would have executed him, instead of a life sentence. So personally I do believe that there were more than 30 women killed by Ted bundy. • My mother in law was approached by Bundy in her late teens when she lived in California. The police later came to her because they found her pictures from that same day in his stuff. Apparently the day he approached her he also took a bunch of pictures of her without her knowing. Thankfully she rejected him, and thankfully he didn’t retaliate. Probably because it was too public and she refused to go anywhere with him. She was approached about using her pictures and story in a book about him but she refused to be involved and identified in case of a copycat or someone who wanted to finish what he couldn’t.

Nothing had happened but I just got such a bad feeling in my stomach that I’ve never had before. I knew something was going to happen! Then when he came down he started yelling and swearing I can’t remember what about but it was terrifying. Luckily we managed to get our dogs together and walk on by but man! • It’s Bc it’s probably not a true story. Yes Bundy could have been in South Arizona even though he had never been seen there once in his life, but it’s unlikely especially considering that according to this guy’s story he was on the hunt while there. Based on his common patterns he wouldn’t have gone that deep into AZ, “followed” some women and then left the state without doing anything. Also based on his patterns, the behavior described as being by Bundy was not relative to anything he’s acted on before. I guess you could consider that it was trying something out. That’s a tough point but I think it’s one that should be made. Also the way this story is told is a bit too good to be true for me. Also this probably would have been reported elsewhere if this were true. Don’t get me wrong, the guy’s a great story teller and it’s always possible that this is in some way a true story, but if we recognize his over-emphasis on the drama and the fact that the crazy stuff that happened was not only irrelevant to the fear of the story’s characters, but also way over-dramatized. Maybe the characters he describes in the story did have a similar odd experience like he described, but he definitely stretched it super long and dramatized it to get the attention to the question and hot topic of Ted Bundy. In conclusion it’s probably not completely BS, but definitely way more dramatized than it probably was in reality. And I truly doubt that all the really wack stuff he mentioned was made up to put Ted Bundy into the question of subject.

They didn’t know how to do it, and so they said no. He apparently said that he could show them, they just come back to his car with him. she got a weird feeling and just insisted that they didn’t know how to do it and so they walked away. then later on she found out that it was Ted Bundy who had asked to give them a jump and she was just so creeped out about it she always told me don’t ever talk to strangers, don’t do anything that makes you feel uncomfortable, and always trust your gut.

  • My grandma was almost kidnapped by Ted Bundy. This is the story: In my grandma's sophomore year of highschool, she went out to a local concert. (I believe she said it was at USU in Utah, but I might be wrong. I'm pretty sure it was somewhere in Utah). After the concert, she met up with her group of friends to drive home in their car. She said she noticed the man across the court's sidewalk in a car pulling up to them at the side of the road. She said he looked very handsome and friendly, so she walked up to talk. He asked her how the concert was, and started some small talk. Her friends came over to talk to Ted too, and they all thought he was so friendly. After a while of talk, he asked my grandma and her friends if they would like a ride to their home. My grandma, being the driver of all her friends, said that they had their own car and didn't want to leave it behind. My grandma said she actually really wanted to drive because he seemed so nice, but she definitely didn't want to leave her car an hour or two away from home. He said 'Alright', but grandma said he kept giving her a weird state as she walked to her car with her friends. As they drove down the highway, one of grandma's friends said they saw the car right behind them in the rear view mirror. My grandma had a really bad feeling, and was getting creeped out. Luckily, she managed to lose him in the traffic. She didn't think much of it afterwards. About 10 or so years later, she was ironing while watching TV. Suddenly, the news turned on, talking about how Ted Bundy was a serial killer facing charges after being found out. She was shocked after she recognized the face, and swears by her life that choosing to drive home in her car was the only thing that saved her life that day. If she hadn't survived, I wouldn't be here, and I am glad that he never harmed her.

My Mom's friend was hitchhiking and it was about the same time probably and same area this happened to these ladies and she was in the same area as well. She said she knew this guy was trouble all the sudden and she told him she had to go back because she dropped something as she was getting in to the cream colored bug. It took him a while for him to finally let her out of the Cream Colored bug. And she noticed he was getting frustrated with her because she wanted out. He all the sudden pulled over on the side of the road and yelled at her to get out of the car and he drove away after she quickly got out the car. Leaveing my Mom's friend in the middle of no where. Yes he was dressed in a suit with his hair combed Nicely. She also found out that it was Ted Bundy by seeing him hand cuffed in the news in court.
