utterly brilliant, soooooooo much work with camera and editing, u should b proud :) I was following the Irish full Esprit restoration with similar camera work, however it became obsessive and seems to have stalled, which is a shame

Someone's been watching Soup Classic! Love the Shimasaurous. They need to dial back a bit on the sealant, all that excess squeezing out into the engine can be a mess for the next guy, assuming it doesn't end up on the oil pump screen.

Two times bravo guys! Both works are excellent, car restoration and video editing. Congrats. How long it took for the car works?

Thank you very much. The work took about a month. Had to wait for import parts. It was not a full restoration, otherwise it would take about 2000/3000 hours

@@liamvanderriel8870 Thanks, Is there a Lotus book or maintenance manual I can purchase in case I would do the same as you did?

@@PieraAndres yes one can get them. For which model?
What would the approximate cost of this particular restoration run? I have an '87 that I'd love to do this to.

Hi Jeff. The best way to go about it is to send pictures of your car, or to take your car to a restoration shop like ours to be inspected. When we quote, we usually quote per hour and give our client a estimated labour time as well as a parts list. Furthermore, these cars always hide something that gets discovered during dissasembly. Hope this helps

I think you will have a problem with this engine and it may well seize. Have you seen the amount of sealer used on the cam towers @ 4:51, 4:58 & 5:22 All that is oozing on the outside will be doing the same inside and finding its way into the oil ways. I've seen this block the Esprit oilways on many amateur rebuilds. You might want to redo that before you start or fit the engine.

May look more than it actually was. Engine running well. That was not last fitment. Was purely for video and making last checks with shimming. Love that stuff though, smells really good
