I always describe Swansea as your nan’s old scruffy dog. It’s like, the dog moults, it smells, it leaks, it grunts and growls at you, but you still can’t help but love it and your heart melts when it puts its head on your knee and leaves a congealed pool of stinky drool and skin flakes. That’s Swansea. It’s a scruffy dump of a city but there’s a charm about it that gets a hold of your heart. Cardiff is a cat. All pretty and preened but the opposite of friendly and ready to scratch your eyes out at a moments notice.

I don't understand people, I really don't. I absolutely live for rainy days and thunderstorms. Legit can't put into words how much I love that weather. All the way back in 6th-7th grade, being stuck in school depressed me. I constantly thought about how there was a whole world living and breathing out there, places to explore, information to be gathered first hand, and space outside of that... While I was stuck in a single building (it's what caused me to develop a strong aversion to working any kind of normal job). On days when it would rain or (even better) storm, it would help distract me from the classroom I was stuck in, ever since then I've been in love with the rain and grey skies.
