personally i think should do an update to the older vehicles, like adding the weapons to the jb700 (including the spikestrips):P, making the ruiner 2000 bulletproof like the armored kuruma (to fit more with the tv-version) adding more armor to the ramp cars. and now its waining for a BTTF delorean and airwolf:D

You could see that the vagner just averages out much better and has better traction and handling, but the moment you used the rocket out of a corner it just negated all of that.

Being worse than the Vagner in corners doesnt necessary mean that the vehicle is bad, its just that the Vagner is op.

The myth of the Cylcone being FWD probably comes from the fact that if you hold the handbrake and throttle the front wheels spin. However, this is not to do with FWD at all. Most other FWD cars do not exhibit this behaviour. The only ones that do are the Surge and Dilettante. The link? All 3 vehicles have CVT gearboxes and at least some power going to the front wheels. Make a Khamelion or Voltic FWD and they will show this behaviour too. It's just an odd little quirk of the way CVTs are handled in this game
Yay a proper explanation
Another fun part of this (at least, it works with the Surge, not sure about the Cyclone or Dilettante) is that in the start of races the game holds the handbrake for you. With these cars that means you can spin the wheels. However if you spin the wheels and then let off just enough for the wheels to grip back up you'll inch forward a little. By repeatedly doing it I've managed to bump into the car infront on a medium grid with the Surge before the race actually started. With the extra power of the Cylcone you could possibly give yourself a small lead at the start of the race and be called a cheater by everyone who doesn't know

Ur Boi I just want more prewar cars. Give me more things like the Z-Type. Maybe a car that's a hybrid of all the old racers like the Bentley 27L and 1913 Mercer. More Lancias like the Fulvia. Give me the Maserati Tipo 53 and/or the Alfa Romeo Tipo 33 Stradale. Basically I want more classics but old school classics. We don't need anymore supercars that feel nearly identical to each other.

Fat Twat Fare For the drag racing dlc, I was thinking that some new drag racing and sleeper cars should be released. They should then release a new racing game mode that involves manual transmission. How hard can it be? Press r1 to shift up and l1 to shift down. This could then make people use first person more since they need to be in first person to see when to shift. Or they could play in 3rd but would need some indicator other than sound alone. A problem I can see with this game mode is the pay that you earn since it will probably be bad since the races would be short. So I was thinking they should make it like premium races. Everybody puts 5k in and if you win you get all the money. 2nd place can get their money back. This will also bring GTA back to its sense of reality instead of these shitty stunt races with too much airtime and these new military vehicles that have been running rampage in free roam.

Was already planning on getting the Rapid GT Classic, and I still am. Not gonna bother with the Cyclone. Vigilante will be the wildcard for me. I really want it, but I've heard people say that it can only be upgraded in the MOC. If that's the case, then fuck that. I'm not gonna flush my hard earned money down the drain to first buy a bunker, then a MOC, then the Vigilante just so I can upgrade a vehicle I can only use in freeroam. I get what you're saying, but for someone like me, who doesn't spend much time in freeroam, it just feels like an expensive waste. I have a CEO office, and a biker club, and I can't even remember the last time I actually did anything with them.

I'm hoping we get two vehicles at once, because if R* starts waiting TWO weeks for one vehicle, the community will outrage so loudly. But the Vigilante seems promising. A very crazy vehicle, exclusive to free roam. I see it as more of a utility vehicle anyways. It's utilities are it's speed, weapons, and extreme weight. It's good at crashes, it's speedy, and it can kinda kill things. Perfect for doing resupplies! :D (AND WASTING YOUR SOUL AND MONEY.)

William Morse It can only take one explosion so be aware of that, and the front guns on it as far as i know are the same as the nightsharks/Ardent and you know how useless those are, Im gonna keep testings its bullet resistance and its front firing rockets thoug
I don't worry about explosive resistance because I'm a solo public lobby hunter, but it is useful in case something goes wrong. Another factor to incorporate is that the vehicle isn't entirely the way R* wants it. So when it's eventually added, it COULD have explosive resistance to some degree. (Basing this possible change off of the fact that speed and customization options for vehicles are affected when added to Online. The Vagner didn't have exhaust options in SP before it was released, for example.)

It's worth noting that the rockets on the vigilante have a ridiculously small turn radius. They can do a full 180 in a split second if they overshoot the target, making them practically impossible to dodge.
I like that there are cars like the voltic and cyclone! I played on a small race once with LOTS of turns, and I won the race using the voltic and I was going against the T20, Osiris, Adder, Zentorno, and cheetah. And using the voltic I beat them all because of the short track with lots of turns, I know this is SUPER situational but it feels awesome to have that crazy advantage on other cars using the underdog that is the Voltic.
If they are bringing rocket cars to the game, they should add in the rocket car called SLF450x from Midnight Club 2 (which is another game from Rockstar that I really enjoyed playing back in the old PS2 days) people who have played Midnight Club 2 know what I'm talking about :D to me that would be awesome and if it would make it in the game, I will definitely grind for it no matter how much it costs!

The Richard Hammond cosplay DLC. Crash a rocket car at top-speed and drive a Rimac Concept One off a mountain side. Also, what do you mean doesn't feel like GTA anymore? In Vice City you did small time work and then all of a sudden you're stealing a tank from the military. In San Andreas there was the Jetpack with unlimited fuel. GTA IV was a little more serious but you can't say a batmobile doesn't belong in a GTA game in my opinion. The only thing I don't get is why they didn't put in the current generation batmobile, Tumbler I think it's called? That thing looks much cooler than this 80's movie prop and would've resonated much more strongly with GTA's playerbase. It's not gonna break anything as you can't race it, it's just gonna be a super fun vehicle to drive around in. I don't understand how anyone could get salty about that.
Stealing a tank from the military is a bit different than being able to buy a vehicle with a rocket attatched to it and missles that goes faster than every other land vehicle in the game
It's about how unrealistic Rockstar is prepared to make the game in the interest of pure fun. You've just started employment for Diaz, acting as hired muscle for petty drug errands. And then straight after you're stealing the most powerful vehicle in the game from the most powerful organisation. That's not very realistic, but it's a hell of a lot of fun. Just like the Batmobile. I also don't see why it matters that it's so fast when it can't be entered into races anyway? To me that only makes the vehicle more desirable. Same goes for the missiles, they're not gonna be very effective versus players so they're not gonna break any sort of balance or anything. It's just a cool extra, you could use them in PvE missions.
Loved that "it's not going to be able to be used in races, so what's the point in buying it". You know that there is more stuff to do in GTA than racing right? And there are not only racers watching your vidoes ;)
let's see, is it as versatile as the Oppresor? No. Is it as heavily armed as the APC? No. Is it as fast as the Hydra? No. Is it as useful for PvE as the Weaponised Tampa? No. The only purpose this car serves is looks

Coming from a huge classic car buff, the Rapid GT Classic is the best thing to ever happen to me.
I don't see why rockstar for races doesn't just disable rockets for vehicles for ppl who like to race. Or just keep creating special races with how they did the rocket voltic it would be lots of fun for people.

When you do official testing for the vigilante you should do testing with and without the rocket boost. Keep up the good work~~

The Rapid GT Custom has been released, but I'm wondering if it's any better or worse than what you have shown. I've seen videos showing it drag racing on the airport strip against the Turismo Classic and winning by less than a second. I assume the Rapid GT Classic must have a similar top speed and acceleration to the Turismo Classic, but how are its handling and traction?

Wish Rockstar would make the Vigilante a special vehicle so we could create races for it. As it stands, it looks like another wasted opportunity, despite how undeniably fun it'll be in free roam. Haha don't know about that, it does seem a shame to not be able to race such an interesting vehicle though, it's the Ardent all over again. If they gave that car the underwater submarine function though, special vehicle circuit part 2 could be pretty good.
One thing I wish to ask, do you attempt multiples of the same track to get the best time or is it just a one off? Cause I did a bit of testing and got 1:05.9 on a GT, just wanted to know (note, this took me a good 15 attempts with the vehicle. I just saw the video and noticed what had happened).
Yes multiple laps, though not as much with this early testing as I'll be doing with proper testing

B*tch please, we have been playing GTA without ever having to stop at a gas station to refill our cars. The Vigitante is more realistic than Helicopters with infinite ammo. GTA like every other game is about having fun, even more so online. Games evolve and let me tell you that before the Oppressor(Rocket Bike), the Rocket Voltic was the most fun vehicle in the game. And I am very confident in saying that the Vigilante won't be the exception. I don't see you complaining about the unrealistic and ridiculous stunt races.

I'm sure many people found this video very helpful, seeing how reliant R* has been on drip-feed content recently. As I was watching footage of the Vigilante, an interesting question suddenly popped into my head. I know that the Vigilante is most likely not going to be raceable, but you were using the rocket on the back of the car every time it charged up. That being said, I wondered how fast the Vigilante is with the use of the rocket on the back versus without it.

yep i'm getting the batmobile, it is kinda funny how i questioned rockstar yrs ago about them making the batmobile and more movie based/famous cars. Only took them this long to finally make it.
Freekyeight Make sure you already have the $3.5 million for the Vigilante because it will probably be a limited time vehicle like the other Halloween cars, also the Sanctus worth $2 million will also be back. So save up.

Are they fixing the payouts for gun running and other missions? One destroyed cargo for sale costs over $300,000 or 2+hrs of boring grinding.
I wonder if R* made the Rimac have bad traction stats because Hammond binned it off the cliff like his Nova. XD It definitely has great acceleration though. Hopefully it gets a bit of a traction advantage when it comes out. Would be nice to have a decent electric super car to compete with
Question: i'm saving up for the Elegy retro (i already own the RH8), i have about 150-200K, but i'm thinking of getting a non-Armored Kuruma (Since all the cars i own are 2 seaters and i'm now doing heists). so which should i get: A Karin Kuruma for ~$95K or save up for the Elegy for ~$904K?
yeah i think i'm doing both, though i think that will put it on the supercars class like the Sultan and Banshee
The batmobile probably doesnt have a maker because Bruce Wanye / Batman made it himself, with of course lucious Fox, but thats not the point. Maybe it will be marked as made by Wanye Industries?
