This was the craziest regular season hockey game I have ever watched. The sharks gave up 3 goals in about 30 seconds and then proceeded to get them all back. 8 goals in 10 minutes is unheard of.

Their record isn't great but they're far from the worst team. They can beat any team on any night and they've proved that. One of the least fun teams to face in the nhl the past few weeks

We are a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT TEAM. I’ve seen so many comments of “oh well how do you lose to the sharks, they suck”, and I just want to say think again. We are BACK and we will FIGHT TO THE END!!
The sharks roster is different from those early losses. Justin Bailey has been a great pickup and that no NHL team even wanted him but the sharks is crazy.

i haven't watched many hockey games, but that second period must have been the best one in my spectator career
And just when I thought they were done, Sharks rally with an absolute near record tying performance, and then Hertl ties it up after Larkin put the Red Wings. Sharks showing some serious performances on this road trip and for the second time this trip overturned a 3+ deficit and won in OT, very good showing

They played 0 solid periods that game. A few more performances like that and they can say goodbye to playoff hopes. I know people are saying it’s just one terrible game, but it’s not. Their play has been leading up to this point slowly for a few games now. That was rough.
At least they got Kane and they still get a point in this game.

I know the sharks are doing good but this is unacceptable by the wings. This is like the second game where we had a 4 goal lead and blew it. Our defense is awful and so is husso. If Lyon was in goal the sharks might have gotten 2 goals at most.
So how Husso exactly is "awful". 2-1 and breakaways. Can you little weenies stfu if you can't understand goaltending? You give two easy spots to score on powerplay for penaltykill unit and then blame the goaltender. get brains kid.
This isn't a surprise though. The D has been rebuilding around Seider will take at least another year. Same with goalies. Lyon might be a bit better, but the D either left a man standing by the open net or broke down in center ice for 2-on-1. What's cool is Wings have an offense that can just about make up for the deficits. Complacency is the Wings worst enemy.
What defence? It’s too easy to blame the goaltender when hes left alone there 😅
Not to worry, Kane will carry this team to the Cup :)

Sharks to the Cup
Honestly right now Sharks look like they might have won the trade with the Devils. As right now Zetterlund is playing better has 3 more goals and one more point than Timo does who's playing with a better roster around him. And then Okhotiuk who seems like he has a lot of potential to be a solid defender for the team. As despite the Sharks having a terrible goal differential at -53 Okhotiuk is only a -5 in his 17 games this season. And then they got two other mid level prospects which time will tell if they turn into anything. But even they don't. If Timo doesn't find his scoring touch he had with SJ and Zetterlund who's only 24 and Okhotiuk who's only 23 keep improving than it was a huge win for the Sharks. Not to mention seems like they picked the right player to give a big extension to between Hertl and Timo as just in the last two games alone Hertl has as many goals as Timo has on the season.
To see the Sharks come back and win like that was FANTASTIC
As of today, sharks are only 10 points back of a playoff wildcard spot.

Maybe Granlund has gotten his groove back on after a long streak of not much going on.
I miss the old days of hockey where a 4 goal lead was 99% win everytime. Hockey is just like the NFL now... No lead is safe and almost every game the other team comes back... Don't understand how this became the new trend??? Maybe coach needs to go back and look at film from the old days... When you are up by 4 goals their should be some kind of game plan to protect it. Surely, giving up 2 short handed goals does not fit that plan!!! Playing suffocating defense and making the other team work much harder would be the plan.. However, you need to match their energy. I think the Husso show needs to hit the road as well. Yeah, the put him in some bad situations. Though he let's alot of soft goals in and really never makes the big save... Just my opinion here...
