  • *“Who enjoys this type of content?”* Me: 🙋🏻‍♀️ I’m not a mom, but I hope to be in the near future. It’s videos like this and stories from our mothers and grandmothers that help us mentally prepare for what’s to come 😅

Fast forward to last week where I realized that I am pregnant again: I started looking for you all over KZhead with key words and here you are… a mom of 3!!!! Congratulations (ps: I’m definitely subscribed now)

  • This was so informative and I genuinely appreciate you sharing. I had to have a c-section (not by choice) and I really wanted to have a natural unmediated birth, so it makes me happy to see there are strong women like you doing it! 💕💕

  • This video had me laughing out loud. It's so relatable between the moans, caring your husband got rest, the ring of fire thoughts... 😂 I pushed for 1h45m, and yeah, and it did feel endless... your sister was such a great support during tough (emotional and physical) times. ❤ I definitely need to try singing through contractions if I have another labour!

  • Thank you for sharing your birth stories! I love hearing everyone’s experiences- no two are alike. For my baby boy I progressed through labor super fast and was 9.5 cm dilated in 5 hours. But then poor bub got stuck and I was pushing for FOUR hours. I didn’t even know that was possible. That was extremely difficult. I, too, did an unmedicated labor. Even with all of the difficulties it was so amazing and worth it all. I look forward to getting to do it again (I mean… it’s still nerve wracking to think of going through the pain again, but SO worth it) with future babies. I know each birth will be unique in its own way, just like every child! Congratulations on your baby boy!

  • You are a Warrior Nicole! I'm 38.5 weeks with baby #2 and am definitely going to take your advice and sing my heart out through this next upcoming labour! Also, my first baby took 3 hours to push out 🫠🫠 he was definitely stuck in the pelvis for a while pushing on a nerve in my left hip (I'll never forget that feeling!) and then his head got stuck making the exit (it was a BIG head, 95th percentile, and my first baby!!!😅) so I am praying for a faster experience this time 🤞🏼🤞🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

  • My 2nd was like this. I was unmedicated and dilating perfectly however babe was just not coming down no matter what position we did. Told them I felt like I really needed to push his head was stuck on my pelvis pushing his head backwards ended up C-section. I just remember crying so much when they told me. Thankfully baby and I were both good and healthy after

  • I pushed for 3 hours 🫠 the chord was wrapped around his neck so every time I pushed him down it pulled him back up. At the end his heart rate was dropping and not recovering so they midwife had to reach in and get the chord out. He was 8.4 lbs and 20 inches long! For reference I’m 5’5 and 145 lbs before pregnancy! I only tore because the midwife had to reach in! Labor is a wild experience!

    • Im due in less than 2 weeks and I found it positive! Ultimately my takeaway was that even if things are tough (slow to progress, feeling alone at times, timing of going into labor was tough) you CAN keep pushing through and have the birth you want ❤️❤️

    • @@amyann47 right! my son was sunny side up too, and they only realized 2 hours after I started pushing so had to lay for another hour with a peanut pillow between my legs, and he turned the right way. Then still took me another 2 hours to give birth, his head was way too big lol
