  • To say a few things that have changed, the emotional emotes are "more or less the same", but now they are updated, and the tone of black's voice and the tension of Bgum are included to some extent, and the black has become more shiny (?) And the biggest difference is that the voice resonates. It's yes or no. Because we seem to be more tense when we listen to songs or beats with "echo" in particular (the rest are comments)

    • They should make it where in the first part, black will have no weapons and his eye won't glow, but after the beat drops, Black's eye will flash and he will pull out a knife spin it and makes the knife turn backwards and the true fight starts

    • New ones are still very smooth, and imo the old ones were much more generic and tame. They were all just imposter animations, vs now each pose ties into blacks character.. But that's just my take, its perfectly fine if u disagree!

  • It'd been a while since I'd seen the original defeat, so when I saw a genocide cover of red and green vs black (all v3) I realized just how large the difference of they're vocals are, at first I thought they were just echo'd, rewatching though I'm just now noticing that they both have entirely different voices

  • New Black has a higher pitched voice. Old Black has lower but is kinda high. In the new defeat when referencing Old Defeat, Black has a sort of different voice from his original. And of course, New Black has a larger visor

  • Personally, I'd prefer the old animations since they are smoother, meanwhile, the new one is just Black having a seizure. Still, the new background is still really good.

  • Blacks old version is alot less aggresive. His voice is muffled. His sprites dont show as much emotion The song is a little less crazy (except for the charting. The stairs are impossible.) Blacks new version is crazy. He is louder. He is Angry (very) He seems like he actually wants to kill bf instead of just pointing a knife at him and saying “hey bro can you die for me?” His sprites show more emotion And the song is crazier. The only thing that does not make sense here is the fact that the v3 defeat chart is harder tho. Cuz they removed the stairs. Thats very strange. 😅

    • Yeah, same! But the design has more history than then old design. You see, before “red is sus!!!1”, it used to be black is sus, at that point the promo artwork of crewmates had square visors instead of round ones. You can see this by looking at the tutorial in the game! I find the old one funny but I appreciate the detail and memories in the new design. Sorry for the nerd wall lmao.
