Welcome back Brian. Good to see you back on Autogefühl.
Thanks
@@pietvelkens219 You're not Brian?? lmao
Brian is awesome.
@@carbonara2144 Thank you
I hate the fact that there is an engine gap. 1.2 130bhp and then you have to step up all the way money wise to a plug-in hybrid. There needs to be 150-180 hp petrol version for this car to compete.
Not that much of a difference between 130 and 150-180.
@@livolas there is still a difference especially if the engine is larger displacement with more torque.
the bigger problem is the small engine that is being turbo boosted. It won't last that much.
@@DeepSlice Depends how long you are going to keep the car. Some VW come with 1.0 liter engines. 1.4 Tsi has been full of problems.
No that would not make sense in Europe. That would put them above 120g co2/km and the new bar to optimally get under is 95g.
Welcome back Brian......now Thomas can go on a well earned holiday! First time looking forward to seeing a Peugeot review, looking very good.
Good to have you back Brian! Thorough, clear and great review, thanks!
185cm here. was afraid of the driving position but turns out it works perfectly for me too. i raised the seat a bit and lowered the steering wheel and was able to see the display perfectly while still being comfortable
Welcome back Brian - missed your review style, your funky shoes and insights - more please
Thank you for the great in depth review and welcome back!
Really glad you are back. Great review - need more from you…
Good to see Brian back, very informative review.
It has been so long not watching you, Brian! So nice to hear you again!
Welcome back, Brian. I bought a 508SW partially thanks to your review. Looking forward to this.
👌😎
Finally you are here! Love to watch your review.

Fantastic video Ang great to have you back 👏
Good to see you back !!
Great review, Brian!
Yay! Our brother Brian is back! Having the video title and thumbnail announce your return goes to show how much of a significant and amazing of an impact you have left on us long-time _Autogefühl_ watchers. Returning like an amazing character that has been gone for so many chapters. It is great to see you again...still expressing your thoughts extremely well, and moving with those short legs and long torso. 😅 Truly giving a unique perspective with your "setup." 😅 But seriously, it has been such a long time, brother. I hope you and your loved ones have been doing well, especially during these tough times of Coronavirus. Stay safe. 💖 Also, rest in peace, Holga. Surely was a great man and member of the team. He will be missed. 😢 Interesting question about hybrids. I guess it kind of depends. I have driven a few hybrids like the 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLE, W222 S-Class, and A-Class, and I thought they were incredible. I think it depends on the vehicle I am driving, because a vehicle like the ones mentioned are not geared for performance, nor did they feel significantly heavier. Maybe I did not notice the weight, but I am not as weight-conscience when driving cars like that, and they did not lose control on bumps or road undulations. The A-Class was kind of noticeable, but not at all intrusive. I think it comes down to how well the car is engineered with the battery. Sometimes, they are afterthoughts-or feel like afterthoughts because they aren't developed from the ground up or aren't developed properly at all. It is kind of like when a big engine is shoved into a car, but the car is not further tuned to carry it. For me, whether hybrids are good just depends on the hybrid I am looking at, not all hybrids in general.
I have the older 2017 BMW 225xe plug-in hybrid that in a way used to be similar to what Peugeot used to to offer in the previous generation of their plug-in hybrids. But the BMW dynamics brings it to anther level. With some fatter tires in the back it's really sweet :P
Brian! Great to see you back.
Still impressed by the quality of your reviews! Many thanks!
Good to see you again. Welcome back.
Welcome back Brian, good to see you back.
the best youtube channel for car reviews.
Good to see you again. As always perfect.
Great to see you back Brian, looks like you’ve had a bit of a makeover too. Gorgeous car.
The new logo, the new design, NICE!
yet another great review. thank you Brian.
Great to have you backBrian great review.
great review as always. would like to know a little more about the low trim cars
Woooowwww, i´m soooo missing Brian, now he is back, the Return of Brian ... 🙋♂️
Brian with regards to the HVAC controls, I think you can create a virtual toggle that includes all of your preferred parameters, thus enabling you to put those on in one touch. I agree with you that it would still be better to have physical controls.
Great to have you back Brian, great review. You have been missed sir.
🙏🙏🙏
Welcome back mate! we missed you……
I enjoyed watching the Video Review. I particularly like the Green Paint Colour and I also like the styling
Welcome back, the man with unbelievably long torso! :D
😁
it was about time, welcome back Brian!
Honestly love everything about this! One of the best looking cars in the market
Nice to have Brian back... more videos please...
Finally a reviewer I can trust - driving 124 in a 110 zone and not hiding it - you're my kind of reviewer :-)
Nice to have Brian back!
I have just order the 308 SW GT 225 hybrid based on this review so thank you very much.
Welcome back 😉 good review 👍
Hi, I'm Brian, welcome to Autogefühl and welcome to the hills just outside of Cannes. We come here to bring you the brand-new Peugeot 308. Now, the predecessor to this car sold over 1.3 million units. So to suggest that this C-segment car is important to Peugeot, might be just a little bit of an understatement. We're going to take a closer look and find out just what they've done to it. There are so many changes that have taken place with this redesign, but I think it's important to mention right at the outset that there are 5 different trim levels: the entry level is the Active, then you have the Allure, the Allure Pack, the GT and the top one of all is the GT Pack. The car that we're driving here today is the GT and that's really important to note because there are some styling differences that are quite significant between the different trim levels. Now, I wanna start here: the 2 key things that immediately leap out at you are of course, this: the badge redesign. Now, if you think this looks slightly familiar, you wouldn't be wrong. But the last time that the lion's head featured by itself without the body was all the way back in the 70s, so this is a very new generation for the Peugeot and that matches this very new looking grille. If you're familiar with the predecessor to the 308, it felt a lot more standard. Now usually, you'd expect the 308 to be competing in the same sort of area as the Ford Focus and maybe the Škoda Octavia along with a wide range of other cars.
Welcome back Brian !
Great seeing Brian again. Get him to review the new VW Transporter and combi, we know he loves his vans and pickups!
Been waiting for this!
Welcome back. Nice video.
It is wonderful to see you again on this channel! Welcome back.
Cheers Brian - welcome back! great review as ever 👍🙌
🤘🤘
Thank you Brian, this review it's amazing, very good job! I love the car and the way you describe it!

My favorite reviewer is back. Yay.
Wow. Brian is back 🥂😎😀😀
Πολύ σπορ όμορφο αυτοκίνητο! Έξυπνη αναλυτική παρουσίαση!
Welcome back Brian, nice to see you again ;)
Thank yiu
Excellent review and of the dozens out there on newer Peugeot i-Cockpit-equipped vehicles, the clearest and most candid perspective on how body geometry may or may not mesh with the steering/display positions.
Thanks 4 tuning in!
The new Peugeot models look really cool. Oh, and nice to see Brian back. I love his analysis of the exterior lines and design decisions :)
Great review, thanks. 👍🏻
Thanks 🙏
Hey Brian, nice to see you back! Can you tell us how long your torso is, measured from car seat to the top of your head as a reference?
I always loved Peugeots 405s&406s. I like this 308.
Welcome back Brian. Great Return :-D
cheers!
Best looking Hatchback ever! Yh front looks futuristic and the back looks good if a little conservative. Love the interior but I wish the back seats had more space!
Peugeot's colour game is strong with this model!
Welcome back Brian but we missed Thomäs too! Stay Safe! 🌷🌿
I love the fact that both Brian and Thomas are sooo articular and balanced in there analysis to there reviews. I find others to biased against French cars which is rather childish and dishonest to say the least. I absolutely live the SW.
You have been missed! Welcome Back!
💪
great vid, love the 308sw, had a few. currently have the 5008 premium... perhaps you could do a vid on that one day... keep up the great content
Cheers keep tuning in!
Wonderful review... I love Peugeot
Welcome back, Brian. any chance you tried the focal system in the SW? any thoughts?
Very good test 👍
Thumps up for Brian! :-) 👍👍👍
The new badge looks very nice 👌
Love Thomas but it's fantastic to see Brian back!
Welcome back
great review, as usual
🙏
Super looking car ..personally this is my #1 group that I love globally
Welcome back Brian, good to see you back! I wonder how the Focal sound system sounds? Is it any good?
Thanks! Definitely enhances sound quality
I really enjoyed this presentation. As an American it’s interesting to me how much time was spent discussing function. Seems like we just like how things look in general.
Welcome!
I have a new 5008 GT Premium. The heating system is very easy to use when driving. I love it. It's my first Peugeot.
Hello Brian. Have you had the opportunity to drive the 1.5 blue hdi version? I am interested in the noise level compared to the hybrid. Also, is the 1.2 130km version louder inside than the hybrid? Thx and regards from Poland.
Nice review! And nice Peugeot as well!
Thx keep tuning in!
The interesting thing about the cockpit display 3D idea is that a concept car from Saab called Aero X that featured such tech years ago. Amusing how little things like that is now catching up into real function.
Welcome back Brian and looking fit! Nice review of the new 308 but the weight of the batteries in the hybrid would be a 'no' for me. That's the same as lugging another 3 hefty guys around all the time! Not sure what versions we are going to get in Australia though. I would think that your body geometry would be ideal for all Peugeots with the small wheel. I don't know why reviewers keep going on about the hassle of changing temperature controls though because with climate control you can virtually leave the temperature setting the same all year round, or use voice activation.
Who is this fellow? He's full of charm, well spoken and overall just fantastic! (obviously recent subscriber here :)) That long torso though...
"His, I am Brian" and "the Thomas Blue"...Two wonderful reviewers...
😊
Brian long torso is back! 👏👏👏
welcome back brian
Welcome back Brian, long time no see?!
It’s great to see you’re back Brian! I like the design of the new 308. However, I was expecting a larger (and newer) choice of engines.
Thank you
The hybrid powertrains seem pretty good at least on paper, though.
I was looking at this or the new golf , im going for the golf a big reason was the choice of engines the golf has loads and a hybrid option, the peugout has got a cool design tho but its not for me
@@jacobzimmermann59 very good New Peugeot 308
Brian from you! i have the Seat Ateca!! Continue the good Reviews......!!!
Pleased to see Brian back.
Thanks for the great review. I have asked this question many times but no answer I have received. Question: does the digital instrument show the engine RPM (Rev counter)?
Depends on spec, higher spec more custom available on screens
