    • I have been a Browns Fan since the 70s, if the Ravens were allowed to keep the team name, colors and the history then it would have hurt more. But the colors, team name and history remained in Cleveland which took the sting out of losing them after the 1995 season.

      @louhodo5761@louhodo5761 Жыл бұрын
    • @@louhodo5761 But the main question is was Modell's decision personal? Or was his decision strictly business? You have to look at it from both sides. I've seen the interviews he did, and he was not smiling when he talked about it. He acts as if the shiv was stuck in his back, and not the other way around. Those city officials were no doubt losing big money when losing the football team. The Thanksgiving Turkey was a lot smaller on the plates of city officials when Modell moved. Less Christmas toys for the kids at Christmas. Modell was the Grinch who took Whoville to another city! And that city celebrated a Super Bowl championship. And I know that Cleveland dominated football in the past. There is greatness in that history. Who exactly was Modell fighting with? Who do you blame? The city and fans of Cleveland? Was Modell asking for too much? It's never discussed at all with the football world, but maybe I am wrong! I have worked most of my life. I have missed every SB game from 1980 to 2015, including the playoffs. I had to make due sacrifices in order to make a living. Did Modell do the same as I did? Just wondering is all. I have a lot of Cleveland Browns friends who all deserve a Super Bowl winning drink of the bubbly stuff. The stuff that dreams are made of you would say!

  • For the Browns to come up huge on defense and have a strong quarterback performance from Watson⭐ makes this a very fun group to see. Not only was Denzel 📸Ward sensational picking off an interception but Jon Johnson also getting that fumble recovery really put the Browns in complete control. I dont know how Garrett🔥 does it but getting 2 sacks on defense puts him in a elite conversation as a pass rusher. Having Garrett Clowney and also Jones is going to give Browns a whole lot of help. I really like Peoples Jones and Njoku too. Its disappointing that Cleveland didnt get that pass interference on Baltimore but a win like this one is huge. Browns are going to be a force as long as Deshaun Watson carries this team through always. He has shown consistentcy, hard work ethic, and is still one of the best passing quarterbacks that the NFL currently has. The thing that makes Watson so special is his accuracy and overall completions total too. Im rooting for Cleveland for the next 3 to 4 seasons. I expect this AFC North to be one of best divisions in football. Burrow for Bengals, Watson in a Browns🍿 uniform, and Lamar Jackson for Baltimore Ravens. Sweetest thing about this Browns victory is Mark Andrews only having about 3 receptions for Ravens offense. They kept Andrews pretty much under control and that says quite a bit in Clevelands case.
