Buying and fixing a dump truck: 96 Freightliner FL70 w/ 8.3 cummins

2021 ж. 1 Сәу.
1 334 226 Рет қаралды

In this video I buy a 96 freightliner fl70 with transmission problems. Previous owner said it needed a clutch. It turned out to be the throwout bearing was not greased and failed. Project turned into alot more once I got into it.

  • What a great video, transfixed for 2 hours, what a story and what a relief one felt as you started to put it back together. You certainly came out a winner, a truck to last a long time and with the extra works planned. Good luck and still just amazed by the work!!

  • I absolutely love these long form videos. Wish more creators would do it. Some people bitch about videos being to long as if you have to watch them all at once.

  • You should always put antisieze compound into the pto splines before you install the pump, there is always a small miss alignment and it keeps the splines from wearing. The fuel tank usually sits on some kinda tar rubber insulator tape between the bracket and the tank. You did a good job, yes that was a bunch of work.
