    • (This is going to sound like a dumb question.) But how can I be a good man if I'm not even sure about what it truly means to be a good man? I still feel like there's a lot of things I don't know.

      @lauriex8832@lauriex88322 ай бұрын
    • @@lauriex8832Not OP, but my take on that is, if you're taking up time arguing what a good man should be then you already have a grasp of what it entails to be a good man. So instead of talking about it, BE it. Similarly, after watching a few videos on self-improvement you'd already have the basic tools and a good idea of what to do, so instead of falling into the procrastination trap of watching the videos and accumulating the theorical knowledge, take action and do it! (saying that as someone who's fallen into that trap). One could even argue that, depending on what you want to improve, you already kinda know what to do even without watching the videos. And watching the videos is a guilt free way of delaying action. Cause you've convinced yourself that you need to learn this or that before taking action.

  • I think it really is crucial to know when to get up and take action - it's much easier to bask in your fantasy of self-improvement rather than actually making it. However, after about 9 months of massive improvement (after 1 month of watching these types of videos) I have been going downhill, slowly but surely, and it's terrifying. I think that is because, as you said, the culture we live in is what determines our behaviour. The videos gave me just that - I spent long periods of time looking at and listening to the people I want to be like, so that mindset was normalised. But since I stopped watching them for a really long time, I can sense my will bending to the influence of those who are simply not on the same journey as me, because these are the people I spend my time with (although I have been making some wonderful friends because of my improvement). This is why I think you, whoever is reading this, should really find a harmony between taking advice and taking action, even if you think you already have the knowledge. It can be books or podcasts too, but I feel like it's logical to target more senses at once. It's not like chulde didn't say all this - I'm just emphasising the point, as I feel that this may bring upon my downfall and I don't want anyone else in this position. Of course, we all have different problems, so you must decide for yourself what's the right thing to do. And thanks for reading all this.

  • I love those kind of videos just because I love the sights and opinions of others. I don't really need motivation, but to have maybe another perspective on things can help.

  • Brother 100% relatable 😬😬😬 I am watching this types of videos from a long time and when this type of videos recommend a thought came to my mind that by this trick or information i will change my life after watching this but nothing had happend yes many videos are very usefull and its just due to lack of action Thank you ❤

  • The real question's is: What will the actions result in? Is it what your searching for?Is it what you Need? What will you learn? In what way will it matter? How did it change other people? Who are you doing it for? How will it change you? And Will it be worth the sacrifice's...? 👍

  • I wasn't financial free until my 40’s and I’m still in my 40’s, bought my third house already, earn on a monthly through passive income, and got 4 out of 5 goals, just hope it encourages someone's that it doesn’t matter if you don’t have any of them right now, you can start TODAY regardless your age INVEST and change your future! Investing in the financial market is a grand choice I made.

  • This is an amazing video. It’s not even a self improvement channel but this video is better than 75% of the “true” self improvement videos. If you read this comment before actually seeing this video make sure to listen to everything. Enjoy watching.

  • Thank you brother, I have been trapped in this loop since a long time and was wondering if I was wasting time on improvement vedios .They were not seriously getting me out. But the way u presented this vedio, it really made my time. Thank you so much. I really want to delete all the social media so badly but can't do it as I require some of them for my my studies. I am serious this time as my exams are up . Not a joke anymore. I came across this channel for the first time and I don't know what kind of concepts you presents but I am subscribing just because this vedio deserves ❤

A great reminder to value yourself for who you are and make the changes you're already aware you need to make to be a better person for yourself. Keep it up!
