Opened my eyes to a whole other level. Wow
That artwork is smooth! Great job on this one.
Thank you! Appreciate you watching
Thank you very much for your video! I've succesfully wraped my first board thanx to you!!! ❤
Thank you this is SO HELPFUL!
Reason I want to try this is because there are so many good brands, that just don't exist anymore, or their quality has gone to hell. Even brands that never made Decks. Maybe I want a Spitfire Deck? I could do that. This is the best of both worlds. For personal use, not for me to sell, obviously.
Thanks for showing how to do this bro!
i’m building a Paramore riot album board, and I appreciate the tips on putting the vinyl on my man
YOO THAT LOOKS AMAZING!!!, can i ask?, Do you add somekind of varnish or epoxy type of substance to keep the graphic from scratching easily? Or you just keep it that way?
Niceee
My graphic design students (a junior college in Wyoming) did their own digital designs for skateboards and I am going to have them watch your video. I considered doing them all on my own now that we have them all on vinyl, but what the heck, why not let them have the experience of sticking it on themselves, right? I think your process is pretty tight, so wish us luck.
Oh designing the graphics. 😂 I was like how can you design a skateboard without having learned how?
In my head I thought of a tip for the graphic application. You do exactly what you do but before you prep the graphic by trimming part of the end you could pre line the graphic and use some sort of clamp so u can line it up once and have it where ur happy then remove the clamps on one end and do exactly what you did…. I just thought if that I think that could make graphics super consistent if you struggle to line up graphics free hand
Does the vinyl wrap peel when it get scratched? Is this what people normally do for skate decks or is it heat transfered
What design app did you use?
Have you considered using UV dtf rather than vinyl?
These would be cool to apply to a ccs blemished board. As awesome as a regular deck at a fraction of the price.
I dig it! You should do a give away with the deck you cut bad.
Not a bad idea!
these look so sick!!!
Thanks! Mr. Danger Bot
Can you skate one and make a video of the graphic after? Thanks!
what would be the dimensions you used for photoshop?
Is this method of customizing the board permanent and won't the printed "sticker" come off or tear off during the first board slide?
What exactly do I go to to order the vinyl prints on the website? Like what specific service?
i too would like to know the specifics behind the ordering process
Price?
How long would these last if you were to use the skateboard?
probably not long. I'd make sure to say not meant for riding
Zero days
vehicle wrap material will just bunch up and get destroyed when you skate.
If you were going to use the finished examples as just artwork to hang on your wall, then that's a great idea but, if you were gonna skate those decks then it's the worst idea that I have ever seen, because as soon as you do a boardslide what do you think is gonna happen ? That vinyl which is basically a big sticker is gonna tear off thereby ruining the graphics, so what's the point of it ?
Some of us cruise on our boards, or have a dedicated cruising rig
Longboard riders or people who street skate or speed skate don't do tricks they skate to get to and from a destination quickly I've been skating for years and never learned tricks because I didn't want to damage my Boards and because I only skated around as a means of transportation so these ideas are good for people like me and also you have more people interested in buying boards that look good and with me that goes awesome because i make my board's
Not everyone does that with their boards Einstein
I'm with you bud. He's putting a giant sticker on a skateboard made for doing tricks not a long board or a cruiser deck.
I also agree its a Giant Sticker and boardslides are too good to not do them. But there are those plastic rails you can put on to protect the graphic. I heard they also Slide better. But you have to skip tail and noseslides^^
