Super pumped for this build! The black bike shown in the video which is a huge inspiration is owned by Twisted Fate Builds so check him out at (kzhead.infovideos). Comment your build suggestions below. Stay tuned for the big reveal!
Thanks for the shout guys 🙏 Good luck with the build
1. Gauges: Keep as is 2. Suspension: Keep as is 3. Seat: Single with horizontal stitching 4. Paint: Champagne or Copper 5. Front Fender: Remove 6. Wheels: Wait until the bike is finished and see how the stock wheels look with the bike 7. Exhaust: Straight pipe, #10 loud
definitely a classic but modern gauge, maybe a nice diamond stitched leather seat keep the current suspension and definitely take the cats off the exhaust.
I like the sound of that!
Gauge - Should be totally retro, with no eletronic thing in sight (Shiny retro maybe?) Seat - single seat with diamond stitch and a nice curvature to it Color - Light Shiny Brown (kinda goldish) with black accents maybe (slick and retro)? Exhaust - as shown is the demonstration video (a bike that is too loud isn't that funny to ride more than once, keep it high pitched but refined) Wheels - Definetly spoked wheels (with as much spokes as u can get) Hope that u get some of this xD
Suspension: turn that sh*t up and go all out
1: retro gauges 2: keep the suspension 3: one seat brown with m color stitching 4: black paint with m stripes 5: swap the wheels 6: ditch the front fender 7: exhaust should be a 8 or a 9
Duel headlights would look wild and epic . Colour combination should be GOLDEN AND BLACK VERSACE THEME 😍 short mudguard don’t remove it make it kinda short and back tyre should be big
I’d love to see it kept analog. Also make the color BMW Orient blue metallic. It looks blue in the light and black in the dark it’s really cool
i have the exact same tool box. gloss black purple handles so nice!
One seat, especially cuz you’re new to riding. Riding with passengers isn’t the easiest when you’re beginning especially on a heavy bike
Very true
Definitely put spoke wheels on it!!
1. Gauges: Analogue with some digital inserts - old school look 2. Suspension: Keep as is Paint black 3. Seat: Single with Diamond stitching Black Leather Champagne or copper stiching 4. Paint: Black with Champagne or Copper Highlites 5. Front Fender: Small black fender 6. Wheels: Stock wheels blacked out 7. Exhaust: light resonator tips 8.5 loud
I've been following your's guy's and yous never seem 2 fail.Im impressed! Play on players...
Argh! Another classic, frankensteined!
They destroyed a beautiful German motorcycle.
1. digital analogue style for retro look, 2).Keep suspension use gold accent color throught the bike, 3). Single with a wide tripper, lets you take the girl w/o loosing the design in perforated saddle brown leather 4). Black w/ smoke grey two tone 5). Deffinately cool max spokes, 6). Retro round shorty handle bar mirrors, 7). 10 loudness w short tips almost forgot... you definately need a small fender as a rock guard
Navy Blue with the BMW stripes
Paint the wheels white
1) Has to be a retro gauge, would set it apart from other bikes 2)Keep the suspension 3) Diamond stitch seat would set it apart 4)Black with the bmw stripes 5) Ditch the fender 6)Wire wheels 7) 8 for sound
That bike is my dream cafe racer project bike. That sounds awesome and somekind of similar than my 316i e30. I will buy old Kser bike after i graduate.
Make it completely straight pipe 😈😈 10/10
Those are sweet bikes!
so how did it go? cant find any more vid about this bmw!
I work with planes and cars so bikes aren't my specialty but I know this will be badass🔥🔥
I would go inverted forks gsxr or something, change the wheels, digital/analog combo gauges, stainless or titanium exhaust, simple mirrors, ok’d style headlight with hid or led. Mix the old with new, and braided lines or copper or brass where you can. All my opinion and I can’t wait to read the others. So many directions to go with this bike. Look forward to watching it become what it ends up as
White with m stripes would look sick
1. Gauges: Modern 2. Suspension: Go Aftermarket 3. Seat: Singular Seat 4. Paint: Keep the OEM colour but add some Pearl 5. Wing: Remove the wing 6. Exhaust: Put a simple reseda torque to take out the drone 7. Wheels: Give it K1150 Wheels
Pair the BMW back as much as possible, retro everything, wire wheels single seat lean into the brutal look of that BMW engine and I quite like the white with M stripes contrasting with the black engine vibe. On another note I bought a 1975 Honda Goldwing GL1000 K0 just like the red one in the video in LA. I rode it to San Francisco and back shipped it to England where I live used it for a while here and sold it to a guy from Wales. I hope it’s still about. A very rare limited production bike being JDM and US export market only as far as I’m aware?
3. Seat : double (check 1995 BMW K1100 by David Manchester)
Where is the finished project cafe racer?
Did theese ever get finnished?
Yesss the bikes back
1. Two round analog 2. Keep suspension 3. One seat, black or brown leather 4. White paint with bmw m colors 5. Swap the fender for something smaller that matches the paint. 6. Many spoke wheels 7. Clip on fork mounted grips.
1. Gauges - Analogue to keep classic style. 2. Suspension - keep as is, with no fairings and not tracking the bike you won't require it. 3. 1.5 seat but rather than rear seat shell, 2 tone the seat with brown diamond and body coloured rear seat (look at Ducati 916) give illusion of rear cowl. 4. Paint - dark graphite with m stripes. 5. Front fender - chop down original to a stubby one. 6. Wheels - classic multi-spoke in copper/gold. 7. Exhaust - don't straight pipe, cafe Racers suit the low slung short can silencer (check purpose built Moto channel, supply parts I believe as well)
1. Gauges: retro 2. Suspension: Keep as is 3. Seat: whit with diamond stitching 4. Paint: deep purple, similar to kirans BMW 5. Front Fender: Remove/mini fender 6. Wheels: mehh 7. Exhaust: loud around 8/9
I wish this guy was in Cali I need help with my k75s idk if you remember but I showed you on insta 😎 also def don’t get a saddle seat it’s uncomfortable try to get a banana seat
got the same bike about two months ago, now starting my own k1100rs project, lets see who will do it better) I all by myself with quite limited resources or you guys with help) the only thing that I can tell you before you start - service it fully, check all common paces of fail! rebuild water/oil pump, check the clutch for wear, also check and service driveshaft. those components are pretty expensive to fix and will be sad if you build the whole bike, and then need to take half of the bike apart to change the clutch.
make the rev gauge analogue cause it's cool and the speedo gauge digital cause it can show more info
Is this a good starter bike and how much does it cost?
bike looks good as is
I wish you guys do car modification projects
1)Classic analog style large gauges. 2)I'd stick with the suspension you have then upgrade accordingly once it's done to perfect it. 3)The seat you could do a two seater seat with the second part under a removable hump so you keep the single seat look but have the extra space if you need it. 4)I'd go with a neutral color keeps the classic feel maybe classic bmw logos. 5)I'd ditch the fender for sure as well. Rims should be swapped for a more dirt bike style or spoked rim. 6) Bike should be loud as hell of course 9 or 10
One seater (shortened rear end), spoke wheels, black, and 10 loudness :)
Gauge - Retro Seat - Brown leather Colour - British Racing Green (black out all other components) Exhaust - 7/10 High pitch Wheels - Spoked Fender - Remove Suspension - As is
On the seat, maybe do what my aprilia has. Two up with a cover for the back when single rider. Really cool looking and when you want the girl with you it’s simple to remove cover and have two up
Check out the BMW Cafe Racer by Sabino Leerentveld. I'd like to see you do something like that.
What happened to this build? Was it ever finished?
Hee, hee, hea, you said you’ve seen small ones and big ones! Hea, hee, hee! 😁
Where is the follow up?
We need custom dual headlights!!
1. Gauges: Analog retro 2: suspension: Keep 3. Seat: Single seat with diamond stitchs in the same suspension color 4. Color: Black 5. Fenders: Leave it 6. Wheels: Black k1150 7. Exhaust: Muffler sound 8
Make it look like k1100rs and flip the brown leather seat, make the paint yellow if it's possible, it looks amazing guys check it out over the internet and paint the wheels black, just yellow tank and all others parts black. Replace the mud guard by the one you've shown the short carbon fiber once and keep the sound to 7/10. And make it show off bobber tires! It would definitely look dope!
Hey i have a K100 I’m turning into a cafe racer and I found in my opinion the best two person cafe seat. I dm’d you showing you the seat
New big cluster Aftermarket suspension
Whats the weight difference after the build?
It should not matter how loud you want it , you just want it to breathe correctly and it’ll sounds healthy 💪 strong
True!
Use as much as you can from the original bike, keep it red and keep the original wheels but powder coat a wild color 🤙
There's a Brazilian, who offers very nice rear swing arms for BMW K bikes. Have You ever heard of him?
Well prices might go up now
Definitely change the wheels!!!
So what´s up with the K?
1. Old school big 2. Aftermarket 3. Caramel colour single seat 4. White with a pearl 5. Smaller front fender 6. Black thick spoke wheel 7. 7-8
What Yamaha is this on 16:43 ?
What Yamaha? the only one is there dt250
Sound = 10
as far as the paint scheme is concerned go for a white body and rose gold alloys.
What happend to the build?
Royal blue tank and wheel's Chang everything else to retro
We want video with Audi S6
First like and comment love your videos
Keep the Original wheels to keep the retro look and just paint them black colour
Dark brown color
hmm..... should have kept it stock. It would have been so much more cooler and valuable .
That’s too boring!
Dark blue or dark purple for the color And spoke rims are better frr
Also yea loud exhaust lol i think 7-8 is enough
Think a fatigued ww2 bomber look. Being a German bike i think that would be fun and original. Lots of rivets and pin up girls
Anything but the three spoke
Where's the gold Porsche at?
First start soon!
❤❤❤🖤💚💜💙💜💛
Exhaust - 10, full straight pipe for sure
How loud you wanted? Answer Yes
10 on the exhaust sound
That load LOAD 😳
Bobby
10
Again not first but not last.... super rad upload
analog, black seats are too hot and I remember riding with young ladies more, with black/white pin stripe engine and white top/tank with M stripes, all those wheel choices didn't look so great, 4 exhaust
Front Fender has to go
I'd rather have the DT250
2l
Bruh what
Original está mejor
First
1.Gauges : Go manual 2. Suspension:ORIGINAL 3. Color: Midnight black 4. Front fender : Remove 5. Exhaust : 10 loud af 6. Wheel : Many spokes
Before it was better
When you said "our dad", I realized you are brothers? Thought you were a creepy gay couple who looked alike.
Hahahahah we are definitely brothers 😂
Wow all these guys do it talk about what "they" are going to do, never turning a wrench pathetic
Lol, this build is clearly made possible by Ryan as we said. We turn plenty of wrenches, but we don’t have the time to buy, build, repair, and manage 25 cars at once. Sorry if you don’t like us showcasing other people’s impressive work on the channel 👍
