Which brand do YOU think is better? 👀👀
Vacheron. Duhhh
Patek, Breguet, Vacheron, AP, .......... Rolex. On their best days Omega, TAG & Longines perhaps make a couple of nice watches... like they say, even a broken watch is correct twice a day.
Who makes the best watch? The arguments go on forever. What manufacturer has the best marketing, creating demand for a "far from the best" product? Rolex. In the whole world of marketing, they're the best. So if you want to buy the best hype, go Rolex. For the best watch - good grief. Patek, AP, VC, AL&S, JLC, Breguet, FPJ, De Bethune and many more can all compete. Rolex isn't even in that game.
I see it like this: A Rolex is like a Mercedes Benz. Your average person will look at it and have a basic understanding of what it is. They'll know that "this is a luxury item and the owner is rich". A Vacheron is like a Maybach. Most people will recognize that it's a luxury item, but they typically won't realize that it's a massive step up from the standard Mercedes. Only others who are "in the know" will recognize the significance of what you have. As snobby as that sounds.
Interesting take
I prefer Vacheron Constantin. It is accurate in time and space. It is a collector's item. Very few can afford to wear it and it is not displayed everywhere in the world. So Vacheron Constantin! Time piece!
Vacheron Constantin is another level.
I own both definitely Vacheron is on a higher class
I may not be able to afford either one of these brands but my vote goes to Vacheron Constantin. There's just something about it that I was drawn to for some reason.
Vacheron simply practices a different kind of watch making. You’re comparing apples to watermelons. The finishing of the movement on a VC alone crushes a Rolex. You’re talking about hand made 20,000 watches a year vs. 800,000 partially hand made Rolexes. They aren’t the same. But both are incredibly amazing!!!
I think having one of each. VC for a dress watch and Rolex for a sport watch, like Submariner or GMT make a complete two watch collection.
There are pros and cons to both can’t go wrong with either one I prefer Vacheron as a wach but I love Rolex cause of its bracelet for History, Heritage and high class status go with Vacheron Constantin Oldest Luxury watch And it’s a member of the holy trinity with Audamars Piguet and Patek Philippe For modern day and show then buy Rolex
Great info!
No Sorry, the oldest brand is actually Blancpain
@@A_Time_To_Tell Not exactly true. Blancpain weren’t making watches for many years, then the brand NAME got resurrected. VC has been in CONTINUOUS production since 1755.
Obviously vacheron constantin
Interesting…
Sorry the first dive watch was Blancpain Fifty Fathoms
Correct the submariner was actually released in 1954
There's absolutely nothing wrong with a Rolex watch. Personally, I prefer purchasing luxury items that the average Joe doesn't have a clue of what they are looking at. But that's just me...
Give us an example of the luxury items you prefer to purchase?
@@luxe_cat Well, I think one of the examples he talks about is Vacheron Constantin.
I own both Rolex and VC... VC is DEFINITELY a higher grade watch, hand assembled, hand finished... objectively "better"... but Rolex is more desirable by the average man on the street... I own both and prefer to wear my Rolex when I'm trying to get attention and the VC when I don't!
Patek, Breguet, Vacheron, AP, .......... Rolex. On their best days Omega, TAG & Longines perhaps make a couple of nice watches... like they say, even a broken watch is correct twice a day.
The answer is yes.
The mere comparison is disrespectful to Vacheron Constantine (whose name is mispronounced in the video, by the way).
Interesting
Can’t stand to hear the narrator repeatedly mispronounce Constantin
Owned many rolexes including day date , VC is much more luxurious
I have a rolex but I want VC 😢
Vacheron is a much more special creation than a mass produced Rolex. A Toyota is arguably more reliable than a Ferrari…but…if you had the money which would you choose to drive?
Surely you can’t compare Toyota with Rolex
@@luxe_cat Agree. Just first thing that popped into my head. In reality I think the best metaphor would be Rolex is Porsche and VC is Rolls.
Although Vacheron Constantin is great, it is hard to beat Rolex. Great video quality btw, keep it up 👍
Yes it’s hard to beat someone who is copping other brands 😊
Well , Toyota is more known than Macklaren The same for Daytona and Overseas Tourbillon 😎
I boil it down to one thing alone. Taste. Im sorry but rolex has none. To me they look chintzy and garish. No matter how much money i had i would not wear one. The Vk though are beautiful
I don’t know what Rolex’s you have seen
This channel can be skipped Compare vc with rolex….
Why not compare 🤔
I’m going with Rolex .I could care less about though forms that speak of its complications.I rather have a watch that will last me a lifetime with its durability not having to dance around it’s quality .VC has been around longer yet Rolex is more popular 😂
Agreed
