    • Agreed. He connects with fans so well that he was the single most over thing in all of wrestling after a full year of just standing silently in the rafters. He didnt need a single match or a single promo or even a single movement to have thousands chanting his name week after week.

  • Angle had to realize at one point in his career he's not a high flyer. He's always botching high flying moves and a six sided ring is not going to help. He landed on his knees on Sting's gut. He could've broken ribs or cause internal damage. And that bat to the face was sick. Angle swung too fast it didn't give Sting a chance to catch it. Overall great match. The glory days of TNA.

    @RVNT9OE@RVNT9OE9 жыл бұрын
    • You do realise thats the move right? Its a knee drop for a reason unless you mean he did the move itself wrong in that case i didnt notice

      @MrBuzzKillah@MrBuzzKillah9 жыл бұрын
    • No it's not the move, that was supposed to be a 450 splash but Angle didnt get the elevation needed to stretch his body out again and his knees ended up going into his gut. That was a botch by Angle, and like Revenant Plague said, could've caused serious injury. The bat to the face though was a combination of both though, bad timing overall, but great professionalism by both to continue as if nothing went wrong

  • 11 years prior, Kurt Angle won’t the Olympic gold medal. 10 years prior, Sting won the WCW World Heavyweight Champion after facing Hulk Hogan at Starrcade. A year later, the Main Event Mafia was born. Whether it was WWE, WCW or TNA, 1985 - 2009 were the best years to watch wrestling. After that, wrestling was never the same again.
