  • Ive laid over 2 million brick or so this product would be good for the beginner to learn how the trowel and eye works together, but seems a bit more work than neccessary but its an idea thats made it here.

  • I used one of these (no experience whatsoever of brick laying) to build some grow boxes in the garden. That was two years ago and they are still all good. So not to sure what people are bitching about. Your not all going to suddenly lose your jobs. It's a good tool for the novice who wants a small job done fast.

Have you seen their build quality...maybe those builders should start using these. So yeah I would actually.

  • Brick are by nature inconsistent. Each one is unique (made of fired clay and dirt), they are laid into a "bed" of mortor. There has to be excess mud to adjust each brick to the proper height. This tool probably works to a degree, but only if your brick is exceptionally uniform. As a mason, I would suggest simply learning to spread mud with your trowel and laying to an established line.

    • i'm also a mason and there's no way the bond is strong, you're basically just resting the brick against the mud instead of actually laying it, so i'm sure the wall is incredibly weak

    • Saying, looks a lot easier to just lay the mud down yourself because you still have to take the excess off the uniform tool, so might as well skip a step and lay it down
