- Yes you are right there. I used to own Chows I had 4 Red Chows and 1 Black Chow. Very loyal breed, and protected of kids my two grew up with them so they respected the Chows space.

The blue ones look a lot like adorable fluffy black bears, while the red ones look a lot like polar bears. Simply adorable

PS You Are Absolutely Right! Down To Their Blue Tongue! I Had Always Grown Up And Had German Shepherds. 1986 Fell In Love With A Little Black Fuzz Ball! I Was Just Married And Brought Him Home As A Surprise, It Didn't Go Over At First! But A Few Hours Later She Was In Love With This Little Guy As Much As I Was! Great Companions!

I So Miss "Wy-Lin-Chi Chow Chow" (Wy-Lei) Pronounced Wiley. My Black Chow Chow. He Was Part Of My Life For Fourteen Years. He Would Often Ride In My CJ5 Jeep, Top And Doors Off, Sitting In The Front Passenger Seat Wearing A Seat Belt, Baseball Cap, And Sunglasses! - Great story! I also had a black Chow Chow girl named Chelsea. I got her when she was 8 weeks old and we practically grew up together until she passed away 16 years later. She was easily the best dog I've ever owned!
