The Reason why Figure can hear you walking, even if you are crouching, is because Figure's hearing is coded so it detects you if you move at the default walking speed or faster. So basically, if you use vitamins while crouching, Figure also will be able to detect you, even if you don't use any modifiers. Hope this could help!

If any modifier that increases speed is applied, Figure will be able to hear players even while crouching. This suggests that Figure’s hearing is based on how fast a player is moving rather than if they are crouching or not. Depending on the situation and speed boost by the modifier, players may be able to outrun Figure if they do not crouch, which would be more advisable as crouching no longer has a good advantage.

Hi Think! I got the Hotel Hell Badge quite quickly actually. I think I found the best stack to get the hotel hell achivement, here is the list. Oh and I also got it 3+ times at this point, it's actually really easy with these mods Soundproofing Out Of Stuff (I bought all 4 items at the beginning at elevator) El Goblino's Payday Last Few Breaths (This is different than Last Breath, in this one you enter the game with 50% max health) Nowhere To Hide (this one is actually a freebie, there are many places to hide at the time I am writing this) Locked And Loaded (also a slight freebie) Battle Of Wits Im Runnin' Here Bad Time You Really Can Run Nosey Think Fast Roundabout (At the time I am writing this there is a glitch you can use for this that will make it really easy, when halt is in front of you go to the side, like touch the wall at the side because halt can't get you there but when halt is behind you just keep on going forward.) Rent's Due Back For Seconds (Ambush usually comes right after the 1st seek chase so theres a heads up for you) Watch Your Step
This is a really good list. I had a similar list that I was able to complete it with but thinking again this is a better list..

I achieved hotel hell too. I had a quite similar list as yours but I replaced Out of stuff, Last few breaths and Locked and loaded with Electrical work, Wear and Tear, Tripped and Key key key key.
Plus Nowhere to hide is not a working modifier, Even A few places to hide is more difficult than Nowhere to hide XD. tell me if you noticed, with Nowhere to hide there was no change in hiding spots.

Ok here's something about the "Jack" appearance at 10:44 There's another entity like Jack called Shadow (I'm sure you already know this) just like Jack they will rarely appear when opening doors. I'm pretty sure shadow can also appear as a white beam of light or a slender black figure. Basically that was probably Shadow rather then Jack. Bye!
the reason he can be white is if the tecture loads incorrectly he will just turn white. but anyways yeah ur right.

by door 50, think had exactly 1055 gold if he continues the same gold growth(which is about 34 gold per door), by door 90, he would have 1899. The base amount for a normal run is 150 knobs (1 per door, 100 doors, and 50 per floor, 1 floor) and think would almost always buy everything, and assuming there is a crucifix and skeleton key, which would subtract 1000 gold which would put him at 1099 gold. But there is a bug in doors, where the gold you gained didn't count, but only the ones you spent, which is -1000 gold, or -50 knobs. 150 - 50 knobs is equal to 100 knobs. the -90% modifier, makes this down to only 10 knobs. he also has a 5x boost, so the result would be 50 knobs.

Figure can hear you when you crouch, because he’s coded to find you at a certain speed, not height.
26:00 idk if you know this right now, but it's because every 20 coins spent in Jeff's shop, is minus one doorknob. so how it works is, it takes your leftover coins, then subtracts it by the amount you spent, in this case 500, so it ends up saying that you had 500 less coins than you did at the end, instead of telling you -- coins spent (500) : minus (insert number of doorknobs). it just says you had less coins at the end
25:40 Think if youre wondering about this is not a glitch. If you spent gold on the shop it will negate your gold points in the end of the run(this will usually say gold spent if you dont have lots of extra gold in the end)
He spent more gold than the difference
Why? It deducts the gold from your inventory when you spend it, it shouldn't deduct again afterward. This is definitely a glitch/miscalculation.

Actually I think it’s depending on what item you bought FIRST. For example crucifix cost 500. If you buy It first and if you get at least 480 or lower it will be negative but 500 and higher it would be positive. So I recommend buying the low cost items first.

Hey think, that white flash when u were on ur first figure was shadow. Sometimes his graphics don’t load so he turns out like a white base but he’s really rare so lucky run!
If you have these 6 modifiers on, the Locked and Loaded or Key Key Key Key would be a good combo because there is a higher chance of more stuff spawning Edit: But the con is if you have one speed modifier turned on with this combo, it would just waste time.
I suggest Locked and Loaded

I have beaten hotel hell about 5 times with the almost the same exact modifiers. A little advice I can give to you is do the modifiers that seem reasonable and comfortable to your wellbeing. Even if it’s something you don’t want. Just have to keep trying and if you’d like me to. I can suggest you some modifiers or all the modifiers that I used.
if you are using a speed modifier only use maximum overdrive other speed modifiers cannot outrun figure and even crouching it alerts figure
No progress means no achievements and el goblino on break cancels out more stuff with gold

13:50 The reason your items didnt respawn here is because figure eats your items. any player that dies to figure will lose their items. Hope this helps!

The white flash in the library was shadow. It has the same chances as Jack in hallways.
The reason figure was roaring so much is he got stuck on a table infront of the desk so it made it look like he was on you but he was just stuck and the roaring when he was stuck was him "Switching directions" because whenever he reaches one cycle in a room he roars but it doesn't account for if hes stuck so it'll still make him roar, he was never after you in that part, just stuck lol.
that's not why figure was roaring, any speed modifier makes figure hear you while crouched, figure detects you based off of speed not if you're crouching or not it's been 5 months so i'm sure you've learned this but still

There's another entity named "shadow" shadow appears not that much and it's very rare if you get him he is like a white entity but when you first see it it will instantly disappear like jack but shadow doesn't hide in closets like jack he hides behind 1 door and you can only get him 1/3 time but if you see him 3 times that's so rare because you can't find him more then 1 time Free context about jack

I have a modifier idea: Decadedupe Desc.: Too many Dupes The way it works: almost every room you open is a LARGE room containing atleast 12 dupes (the name is decadedupe ya know) and they never have duplicate room numbers, plus dupe does more damage

10:44 no that is shadow. Shadow has a thinner body while jack has a big body. Also if it was jack I would have been a blood library. And also shadow glitches and it becomes white. Hope that helps!
Hello Think! I test a lot for possible modifiers to use for hotel hell. and I think this one is the most friendly (not painful like wet floor). these modifiers are El Goblino's Payday, Out of stuff, Gone fishing, Soundproofing, Locked and loaded, Nowhere to hide (only effects you if you have more than one person in the run), Last few breaths, Im runnin' here, Battle of wits, Think fast, Itchy, Nosey, Back for seconds, Rent's due and last but not least... Room for more (all rooms entitys from rooms can attack but it is very rare). you cant try if you want or if you dont belive me. but have fun, i dont mind if you use this comment in the vid btw. Have fun! :)

Hey Think, btw when you got in door 50 and that white flash happened that was actully shadow because the shadow has a white flash and the flash was really tall like shadow and after the white flash went away that was where he spawned but you couldn't see him because of the lighting

The reason why you weren’t finding “more stuff” is because when you have el goblino on break on it gets replaced with gold.

Fun fact: The Hotel Hell speed badge is MAXIMUM OVERDIVE, which makes you move about half the speed of Ambush. If you used this with the slippery floor modifier, and vitamins in the seek chase, you would have a 99% chance of winning BOTH of the chases (maybe)
You can even outrun Rush! And maybe A-60 or A-120. Idk
No, you’d be too fast to keep up with your own speed, plus it’d be harder to go through the obstacles cuz of the wet floor making you slip left and right

12:05 thst happend to me with no modifers (I don't got rock bottom but I got detour) qnd he kept growling even more when I ran for like 5 secs I went to the area where he can't get u and he was SO LOUD it was anoying
So basically he can sense you also crouching because the crouching speed with Faster, Faster and Faster is the same speed as the walking speed
For your next doors run for “trupe” let’s say the doors are 1, 2, and 3 it’s always the average which is 2 and if there are two of the same number it’s the other door that is different so if it’s 1, 1, and 2 it’s 2 and also there is a tiny difference in lighting that you can see with fog to see which the correct door is so the extra glows one is the goos one.

10:44 this was actually a rare entity called shadow. Shadow has a chance of you opening the door and spawning behind it When I first unlocked this entity I certantly unlocked it in a normal match. I was lucky enough to unlock this entity before door 50. You were very lucky to unlock Shadow on door fifty.This is probably not unlocked for you which is why you thought it was jack. Jack appearing behind a door is a rare chance out of a 1/2000 chance.

there's a category in the doors category extensions speedrun which is called "modifiers unrestricted" which you're able to use all good modifiers in it and suprisngly speedrunners use seek's "you really can run" modifier
