I saw a Karen in the wild once. I went to the gas station down the road and there was a woman arguing with one of the workers because she wanted to buy alcohol but her ID was expired. The worker was explaining that she could lose her job and potentially be fined or even jailed for selling alcohol to someone with an expired ID. The customer demanded to speak to the manager and the worker told her she was the manager. Customer stormed out and yelled "well you're a SH**TY MANAGER!". I worked at that gas station later on and can confirm that worker is both a great person and a manager. Also, no valid ID, no booze. Not unless you look old af. I'm not risking my job so you can buy a budweiser.

I think for that Starbucks employee, the most he’d get would be a written reprimand or a corrective action taken against him (regardless if the girl complained or not). But given the circumstances, Human Resources would probably give him a warning.
Depending on how petty they are, they could fire him but hopefully it's just a warning since he did have a legitimate reason to be annoyed but handled it poorly.

Can't believe that got upset when they guy was just trying to do a wholesome video as being "Santa." I love watching wholesome videos where people do good things for others. Clearly none of those people in there had any Christmas spirit. It is weird how people can immediately think the worst once the camera is involved. There was no need to push/shove him either. Obviously she doesn't know what she is getting herself into. Hopefully one day she will see the video and feel embarrassed.
I could be wrong but I think the employees were mad that the customers were recording. I've seen plenty of similar videos of people getting kicked out of stores for recording so I think it's a privacy issue since no one wants to be filmed without permission.
