Baby Monkey with his Cousin Chihuahua “Bitty” and his Sweet Mamaw that Loves Him
Welcome to our channel!
The thought of raising a monkey without sharing it with the world doesn’t seem right to me. It’s just something to see and such a joy filled with funny scenes, sounds and experiences.
So, I’ve decided that I’ll record videos as much as my cameras will allow and share them with the world while my little fur family and I travel down this brand new path that has come our way in this life. All the while, taking you through the journey with us.
I named my baby monkey Chuey Beaux Blake. Pronounced “Chewy Bo” - aka- “Chue”
Because he chews on everything! Ha! It fits! As of today, I’ve only had him for one week and 3 days. I flew to Wisconsin to get him, rented a vehicle, then drove for 10 hours in order to bring him to his new home in Tennessee.
My name is Julie Blake. My little fur family is made up of one female cat named Bella, the oldest of my fur babies. One male cat named Bubba Kodi, the middle child. And one 7 week old baby monkey named Chuey.
Both of my beloved cats are rescues that were strays and needed a place to call home and someone to care for them. They have both been fixed and because they were strays, both of their left ears have been clipped. They came, and stayed! Thank goodness. I love them so much!
In this particular video, Chuey’s Mamaw Blake came to visit him because she loves him so much. It is such a joy to have all of our animals around us daily, as im sure if hou are an animal lover, you feel the same about yours. We laugh watching our babies get to know it each other. Bitty is my mom’s little dog and she is the sweetest thing ive wver known. Seriously.
Like Chuey, mom takes Bitty out about the town to shop anytime she goes and she is so gentle and sweet to all that is in awe of her. I’ve never met a sweeter Chihuahua in my life. And she’s the prettiest one to me, also. I’m biased of course. 😉
Bitty is unsure of Chuey still. Chuey has only been in the family now for only 2 weeks and 2 days, so it will take more time for Bitty to come around to a monkey. It’s all of our first time ever seeing and touching a monkey, much less, owning one. He seems to be fitting in perfectly so far.

Where is the mom ? And please watch your dog with this little monkey they get jealous, hope you are just as interested in him when he’s big
The mom of the monkey? She is in a zoo. They give the babies to licensed caretakers that find them good homes, so they can control the population and not make the babies have to be raised inside of a zoo.
This little boy is loved by many and I’m in the process of building him an awesome play room that is designed differently than any other monkey playroom you’ve ever seen. It will be shown on this channel in the near future, so stay tuned! Thanks for your comments.

@mypetIpet No offense but I have never heard of a zoo handing out infant primates to be raised as pets. Why don't they sterilize their monkeys instead of ripping them away from their mother and family that they need to be healthy and happy emotionally and psychologically?
At least most dogs know where to pee and poop and that monkey never will. Rather have the pooch.

Poor dog! I've seen so many pet monkey videos over the years I've been viewing them where the person buys a monkey and suddenly the dogs, who were there first, are ignored or forced to play with the newly-acquired monkey. You could even see the look on this poor little guy's face when this lady amused herself by holding the monkey up to the little dog's face. Cringe-worthy.

Congratulations on your need family member. Be prepared for a ton of negative comments. Many that's never been around a monkey try telling you what to do. Lol. It is comical at times. Enjoy your new baby.
It's not a baby, it's a wild animal that is not meant to be a pet.
It's rare to see someone not from the places these monkeys come from keep them for their entire lives and there's plenty of videos on KZhead as well from people that did own monkeys tell why they make horrible pets. Time will tell.
