Hello my friends and welcome! After putting this off for like a year, I've finally decided to try Minenautica - perhaps the craziest mod I've tried on the channel to date as this one attempts to recreate the world of Subnautica in Minecraft! Ready to swim and mine? Then come along!

It would be cool if they ported the mod to 1.13 since that version of Minecraft has better swimming mechanics, sadly it seems to me that the mod is abandoned

Yeah, Mojang doesn't care about modding community and basically killed it in 1.13 along with the game's performance

I remember once i wanted to build all the regions in minecraft, i started with the grassy plateous and the jellyshroom cave, but now i don't have the motivation to continue, but if this comment gets 50 likes i will continue

There’s a mod that lets you swim better in (what looks to be) like pre 1.14 versions of Minecraft, this mod would probably work much better with that mod added

This mod would definitely be even better with Minecraft's "Update Aquatic." Seems it was made for 1.8 though.

So a quick tip bacon: any minecraft version number above 1.12 has a swimming button, its simply your sprint key. If the mod is in 1.13, you can swim. Since 1.13 was the ocean update for minecraft. :)

there aren't any public versions of it yet but when it releases you might wanna check out alex's caves, some of the parts in it are quite subnautica-esque and it seems to be very well made so far

I like how this mod, while still quite impressive, is still outclassed by other mods. Like how can a modding community so easily outclass subnautica? Those guys are seriously impressive

Awesome mod! Maybe we will have chance to encounter any of leviathans when they will continue mod. Actually it's possible to swim faster in 1.14 version so just mod needs to be updated to that version, anyways thanks for showcasing this mod!

There's still the BetterDiving mod for newer versions but it's not on such a sar. It adds subnautica based diving gear, swimming mechanics, oxygen mechanics and the Seamoth

well last year I tried making a subnautica mod, but I knew it would be bad cause it was the first thing I ever did and without any knowledge. I started with the habitat builder and ngl it worked pretty well but I only managed to add a few things, only made multipurpouse room and moonpool. Made it so they couldnt be spawned completly floating but instead near sea floor, and made extendable legs to them. It was amazing until I had to make so they generate an access in between. I also tried making a seamoth with the resources I had, it was pretty decent, tho no modules. Either way not like u can go so deep in mc. was a nice project but year started again and had to focus on it

You have yet to play the 4546B Project by Hope. It takes a bit of setup, since it uses a server and a texture pack instead of mods, but it will blow your mind.

The only thing that's really missing is the fog. It seems like you're using fullbright / maxed out gamma which makes you see way farther through the water than you should be able to.

there are NO hostile creatures in that mod and currently have only developed 3 biome being: kelp forest, safe shalows and grassy platue currently
