Gotta respect that first goal from Brighton. The play was absolute fantastic. Liverpool did a good job coming back from a 2 goals disadvantage but there is much to be improved in the defensive field.
trent should honestly be on the midfield, van dijk and salah need to get their form back up aswell, our forwards are having issues and our defensive lines are just embarrassing, please can klopp save this

Watching this is pretty upsetting we don’t have any defense.Trent made a lot of errors and just how the team played today isn’t like always. I don’t think that some of the starting players should’ve started in this game but at least we’re seeing Firmino back at his best. We can do better then this reds 💪🔥

I think Konaté will solve the problems of the defense Van Dijk is no longer a good defender except in 1 against 1 and the air balls are the biggest benefit of him building play and long balls
We literally have nobody to replace our out of form players. We aren't like city where you can drop star players to put another star player in their place. The lack of depth at RB is criminal

It's funny how Liverpool brought Núñez to compete with Haaland, only to be surprised that Firmino all of a sudden became the irreplaceable Ronaldo09 according to Klopp, albeit he's been decent this season insofar.
So embarrassing we are a shameful lot
Liverpool did not buy Nunez to compete with Haaland. Liverpool never do reactionary signing. Buying Nunez is the natural evolution for Liverpool. He is bought to give a different kind of threat. But he is a pure striker just like haaland and he needs good service to be effective which Liverpool simply can't seem to provide right now. Liverpool have looked the most comfortable and most threatening when they played a 4-2-3-1 formation with Firmino playing behind Nunez. May be thats the way to go. But some of Klopp's decisions this season have been baffling like his insistance on playing Milner. Everytime he comes on LFC loose all their momentum.
Núñez is to give a threat in the air, when the opposition sits in a low block and Andy/Trent are teeing up 25 crosses. He is not bad just because Haaland is doing well. The bigger issue is the Liverpool midfield is very inconsistent, right now. Thiago, Hendo, Fabinho have all the experience one can imagine. If they cannot do better, it is time to move on to younger legs. Put a fork in Hendo, he is done as an elite level starter.
I have said it before, I shall say it again...Arnold: Great going forward, but cannot defend to save his life....and Klopp thinks he should be first pick for England....like they haven't got enough problems at the back.

Arsenal is my team but from these smaller clubs I've always sympathized Brighton the most. They play beautiful football at times and their team is full of fantastic players. They always manage to take a point here and there against "The Big 6" clubs and make their journey more difficult!

The midfielders are supposed to help trent along w matip but they have been too slow to react

Edit: I am really happy that Bobby is back to his best so now we can see what he can really do and Salah is not quite back to full form but he is gettting there which is good to see I am a big fan of Trent’s passing but watching him defend is just dreadful like for the first 2 goals he was just standing there and not trying to help leaving VVD and Matip in a 2v3 so I think that they should play a wingback system so that Trent would have to worry less about his defending and more about attacking but if that doesn’t work then we should make him a midfielder if we find a quality right back

This season probably won’t be the same as last season because the physical pressure of playing in the LIverpool has been a major problem in the mindset and the body as well too maybe we need to develop more players in the new squad to make it more energetic and more consistent in our team especially in the midfield role of the team eventually I hope Bobby Firmino will get a new contract in this season before January because he still has a valuable player in our team.

I can't watch Trent's defending anymore, his errors clearly affected the defense as a whole. We should try to sign a more balanced right back come January. On the flip side, glad to see Bobby is on-form.

@@tommyfield8449 im not a Liverpool fan, I'm a United fan, im just giving an opinion based off my observation, Manes work rate was amazing, yes Salah scored some pretty impressive goals from time to time but a huge part of why he was able to do those things was cause Mane was there to help, watch how Salah performs this season without that help. Mane was a very important piece of Liverpools attack and Nunez hasn't proved he can fill that void yet. Diaz shows glimpses of it just needs more playing time...in the meantime Liverpool will struggle in for a while in attack until they fix it

LFC's main problem was in midfield, now defence is also an obstacle for them . Goalkeeper and Strikers are only good . Others are doing not well.
