    • @@yodaguy6956 he had to sell fights in order to stay in the ufc so he resorted to the same shit talk McGregor and the rest of the shit talkers. If you're going to hate on Colby for doing it then you need to hate on all the rest for the same thing. I don't like the fact that he resorted to that level but that doesn't change his fighting skills.

When he adopted the "Money Mayweather" gimmick, along with a more defensive style of fighting, is when he became a heel, started trash talking, and became the richest fighter of all time.

He said he was a deadbeat father (I am a father with only 30/70 split custody) and that should not of bothered him if he wasn't actually a person who didn't spend time with and/or care about his kids.) He also didn't slander Masvidal's ex wife at all, if anything praised her. Gamebred claimed to have let Colby sleep on 'HIS' couch, when his wife paid all the bills and presumably for all the furniture. So Mr. Covington pointed out it was all hers and that Jorge had not actually provided him with what he had claimed.

  • Well, bucks stop at UFC. Recently UFC banned fighters to bring national flags. A few years ago UFC enforced all fighters to wear uniforms despite of the fact all fighters are deemed independent contractors. UFC could certainly draw lines on trash talks. Yet, it leaves all all doors open on trash talks from degrading comments, fighters religions, ethnic names, fighters family and private matters. There’s only reason for that. UFC came to their conclusion “trash talks” sell, thus good for their business. UFC 272 featured Jorge vs Colby as the main event despite of the fact it was non-title. There it goes !

    • Dude if you want to limit what fighters can say you’re basically begging for the sport’s popularity to get killed the reason mma and the ufc is as big as it is right now is because of how brash of a personality mcgregor is he literally said in the lead up to the aldo fight that if it was a different time period he would’ve rode into Aldo’s favela on horseback and massacred them and raped their women and that help hype the fight. The ufc definitely needs more hype right now and trashtalk will help that. people are more interested in a fight when two dudes are disrespecting eachother compared to being cordial and respectful
