Ukraine is a secular European liberal democracy, and Iraq is a despotism without a modern political culture. For once, it is a healthy modern country that needs help, not savage Arab tribes. And I am writing from fascist Russia. • Not treason, but members of the house and senate can be prosecuted and impeached if they are foreign agents. DOJ doesn't want the heat for going after Republicans who are foreign agents though, so only a Democrat has been put on trial. Some foreign gov needs to make a case in the Hague for they're complicity in genocide. They wanted to prevent supply of air defence so Russia could destroy power plants and hospitals before winter so millions of people would die, so indict them. The US may not be signatory, but the media can still ask them how indicted war criminals still sit in congress.

    @user-hl6yp4vc1l@user-hl6yp4vc1lАй бұрын
    • He is a serial traitor. He was born in the Soviet Union, Baku, Azerbaijan SSSR, of Armenian descent. His original surname is Weinstein. He abandoned his surname in order to increase his chances to climb the ladder (as he thought, or somebody around him). He needn't have done that: Tal (world champion), Bronstein, and Stein did not. He took his mother's surname Kasparian (Armenian) and changed it for the same reason into Kasparov to be accepted as a Russian and gain an advantage, abandoning his Armenian heritage. He needn't have done that. Petrosian didn't and he became world champion. He joined the Soviet Communist Party to gain privileges. Many other did not. After the dissolution of the Soviet Union, he could have sought Azaerbaiyani citizenship, the place where he was born and grew up. Or he could have sought Armenian citizenship because of his Armenian roots. Or he could have emigrated to Israel. He could actually have emigrated to any country in the world including the USA. But he chose to become a Russian citizen and live in Russia. He could even have sought asylum in the USA during Soviet times and it would have been granted. Others did, he did not. He preferred to stay in the Soviet Union and be a Soviet/Russian. Kasparov had plans, you see. He figured that since he was the smartest man in the world, according to himself and what he achieved in the chess world, he was entitled to rule Russia. His brilliant mind led him to the conclusion that since he could not become USA's president, not being born there, the best thing was to have that "formidable" power and its monetary resources at his side. Kasparov was there, ready to move his pieces when the time came to launch a colour revolution in Russia, that in my opinion should be called the "Chequered Revolution". His gambit failed, since it was unsound. And now you have him in the US, bitter and with a chequered past, spewing venom against Russia in his personal vendetta; his function being such that when a commentator proposes a dubious opening, Kasparov juts in and talks agitatedly about the most unsound variant (of that same dubious opening) trying to convince everybody that you have a clearly won game if you only follow his brilliant advice. A person who pretends to have skills or knowledge that they do not have is by definition a charlatan. Kasparov became a charlatan when he abandoned chess and got into politics to further his own ambitions.
