00:00 Intro/Specs/Main Question
04:20 Lap
12:24 Do you NEED a GT3 RS?
The speed he's still going after the close call, laughing, with one hand on the wheel... wow. Someone's confident.
That's a different part of the track and video I think
@@TheBazzrt Correct
Yes I had two pals die like this - young man showing off trying to be driving god.
@@robjonson629 They didn't die at the Ring though, right?
@@robjonson629 luky you that stupidity don't kill
That guy's a wild, wild driver! Not at all smooth like some of the other pros Misha's been with, but using every millimetre of track and fast AF!!!
yeah, it was very sketchy. i dislike this type of driving.
@@paradox5556 k
@@paradox5556 being smooth doesn’t always equate to being fast. Some of the best F1 drivers we have now are fairly wild with steering
@@paradox5556 He just knows how to get to the limits. Nothing wrong with this type of driving. He is a professional.
@@paradox5556 Guys why is it so wrong for Paradox to have a different opinion...... I also do not enjoy watching this type of driving as much ( dont kill me pls)
He never lost control. You’re good.
This looks insane, incredible driving! People saying 'he doesn't look smooth compared to other pros' I think its just we don't often see pro's pushing cars to the limits especially something as planted as a gt3.
Have u not watch any race ever lol
Misha's sphincter went full throttle on that bend
Jesus
When you wish you speced a brown leather interior
Misha bit a big hole in the seat owes them a new seat.
WOT
McMurty vacuum tech lmao
Kesselchen climb *glance at speed* *tightens harness* 😂 What a ride! What a car!
That was special, I had a smile watching the whole thing. What a talented driver and what a machine
There is no question that the GT3MR is better performance for the dollar than the RS in my mind. However, the RS just seems a bit more special to me.
These videos bring me a new level of appreciation for porche. There are absolute weapons.
Loved the closing comments about coming home with the rs! Oh yes and the lap was pretty amazing, so adjustable on the limits 😊
Great video Misha! Want to see the GT3 RS MR !!
wow misha your channel is amazing, consistent epic uploads, thank you
Just amazing !!! Amazing pilot!! Misha right behind!! 🎉
Superlative driving. Good vibes. Positive conclusion. Great content,. Inspiring.
It was kind of fun to watch both videos side by side, synced up as both cars passed under the bridge. The GT3 MR ended up something like 7 seconds off the pace of the RS, and you could see the corner speeds maybe 10 kph lower in high-speed corners... but they looked so similar.
That was an amazing lap. Do you feel safe because the car is so capable and you're with an amazing driver? I've had the pleasure of riding in a highly modified 720s with 1400 whp and although the speeds were insane, I trusted in the engineering and I didn't feel like I was going to die. I've been in 500+hp cars and felt like I was going to die at any moment. As always, love your videos! Great content!
I guess so!
I raced a 1200hp 720s in my 1100 whp Porsche turbo S and that car was all over the road but it looks so stable at the same time. The suspension setup on a stock 720s is already great and I guess can handle 1000hp + somewhat okay. Ps I one by 3 cars 😂
@Porsche992_1 what setup?

Loving the videos, great content. Keep up the good.
That’s racing !! And to the point. Perfect thank you
Remember Misha: You can sleep in GT3 but you cant drive around in a house🤣
Brilliant video, I own 992 GT3 and drove 992gt3rs (on the street) , totally agree with you on gt3 is better for what I use it for , RS is a different level of the car and you need different level of driver for it , big plus for me is manual option on gt3 vs RS . Thank you , really enjoy watching it.
Awesome drive and lap to watch. Also laughed about the end. It’s is everywhere the same hahaha….. a happy wife is a happy life, so do yourself a pleasure and get what they want 😂😂
I bought her a nice coffee cup today. She was over the moon as much as I am when she is buying me socks!❤😂
Now that is how to drive fast understanding the cars limits 👏🏻👏🏻
It is a good option on the appreciation stand point but not for the everyday owner, great video!!
These racing drivers are built different. Only they can remain so clam and collected after a moment like that. This was fricking fast and you are right, for the everyday punter it should be more then enough. If one can get a RS then for sure that would be great, if not the GT3 MR should be sufficient. It's by no means a low tier car. Btw that flyby from the yellow Porsche at the start was fire. You guys flying in the end would've been similar. Am I the only one who loves a good fly by ?
What a car with the Manthey Racing kit wow,speechless..
JC!!! This guy's so cold, I've felt you shivering sometimes... What a lap!
That must have been an experience 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thomas Preining is a brilliant driver
The driver really send it. attacked the curbs with full power🥶🥶😎 thanks misha
Just AMAZING.
Lots of observations here. Wow tires. Circus driving, that guy gave us a show. Pushing everywhere!
What emotions even from wahtching this video, the way how the car is screaming, how it changing gears - the car feels alive. EV's will never give anything like that, despite the speed and all the sounds gimmicks manufactures are put in it.
The way that he is able to feed small corrections mid-corner with that car! Other cars would be so upset that they would scrub 10-20 kph or he would be in a full tank slapper. It’s amazing! I have a Spyder on order, nothing close to this, but it’s my dream to do a lap with Misha.
Tank slapper? Lol, ur a bike guy ig?
Those steering wheel movements, I can tell he's feeling the edge of grip.
Uffff... Hermosa vuelta... Sobre exigiendo pero sin torpezas... La tranquilidad del piloto llegando al límite del auto.... Genial.....
song: Misha feat Thomas Preining - Nürburgring ( 992 GT3 MR mix )
We need to wait for the GT3 RS MR.
This content is so goooood! 🤩🤩
AMAZING!!!!
Mishas face at 10:28 when he approached the Green RS wayy too fast, he was like, “Is this guys serious?”
Misha´s expressions are amazing🤣
nice, rear cam is gold 👍💛👍
imo best Porsche to get. way more beautiful, very track capable, kinda daily driveable - like you could actually get to a track in it for a track day/weekend, unlike gt3rs.
This car moves around sooo much compared to that white GT3RS from an earlier video. The downforce on the Rennsport is unreal! Great lap nevertheless! 🤙
Amazing driver!!
this car just glides along the track, it looks so smooth the way it moves side to side 😂
10/10 almost all the time.
It's you who stimulates them like mad drivers. 😁Looks like the gt3MR is little bit hard and fights more like gt3rs ,but they are two queens of the track.
Top, grandios 👏👏👏
Love
Now thats what i call a Lap(dance)!!
Awesome
Fully agree Misha... A little practical on a "toy" you can have to today tho it's far from a toy. My ride would GT350R with Aluminator engine - 580 hp 445 tq 7800 rpm.
great video, keep it up
Nice drive👌
Awesome run!
damn wat a lap. the McDonalds drive thru must be bout to close. awesome driving Thomas. wat ever it takes to get the lap done, everyone has a different driving style.
RS definetly seemed more stable, still amazing car though!
99% of people will be lucky to do a 9 min lap , we went in audi s3 we did a 10 minuite dead and belive me it felt very very fast !
No, basically any newer car with at least around 200 HP can do sub 9 lap BTG with even mediocre driver behind the wheel. But if course track knowledge is important
I can double that easy
@@stefanpredl6849 lol u walking round ?
@skrypka have u been and driven round it ? I have and its takes massive balls to drive round it on a quick lap , also if u crash you can end up with a massive bill for repairs , guy in our hotel damaged a load of armco and got a €5000 bill for repairs plus a towing bill !!
@@JakeM240 I drive Nordschleife regularly every week mostly if I am lucky. And real Nordschleife, not on a simulator. 🙂 All that I say is based on my own experience not friends or etc. Balls concept you mention only starts to "work" when you are targeting sub 8 for relatively stock car / tracktool. 30 seconds more is really area of drivers who drive the ring on a regular basis with well specced cars. Some drivers who come often with quite good cars (mostly stock) never reach sub 8, thats also true, but anyone can do sub 9 for sure. No worries, more practice, more laps and it will be easy, I guarantee 😉
8:40 Misha: Let's just tighten my belt and pray.
your face told all you were thinking about those close calls....you are so brave after the first one I would be asking to stop and let me down! hahaha
I would love to see a Nürburgring live track map on the video, that would be nice. Anyway, love your videos!!!
Misha is this the fastest time you’ve done around the ring? Just the commitment is crazy!
What are your optimal tire pressures or temperatures when hot? And what cold pressures do you start with? I am running Goodyear Eagle f1 Supersport R (80tw) on stock 992 GT3 and wondering what to aim for on track? Thanks, would appreciate input.
Just amazing! And like you say… the gt3 is enough
Would be a blast to see the warmup round also. 🤩
Fantastic video - just so fast! Did he have the reaction control on?
The cars are excellent and I agree that for 'normal' user the 992 GT3 MR is more than enough. But what is more interesting for me in both of these videos is the difference in the style of driving of both drivers. One is extremely smooth and insanely fast, and the other one is constantly making corrections but still is insanely fast, so I guess there are multiple ways to master fast driving
there are many ways, and also many professional drivers are able to adapt their style to the cars/tracks and do whatever makes them faster and more confident in that particular conditions. But of course they will usually still have a style of their own
This is not you average driver.... damn he was on the edge and must be a pro and one that knows the track very well. Great drive
it's thomas preining, he's porsche works driver
That driver is a machine himself. Top quality driving.
These pro drivers are just a different breed!
Fckng 7.20 on a track day, awesome pilot
this guys have some faith in the cars
Sensacional 🎉❤
Oh to be young and fearless again! That MR is a weapon
When your hands get wet while watching it is a really good video!
That’s what dreams are made of🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
When I watched the GT3 RS video two days ago, I thought it couldn't get any crazier. How wrong I was! I think I don't need a GT3 RS. The GT3 MR would still be enough for me. 😉 Your expression when getting onto the grass at 8:58 is priceless, Misha! 😂
I love it that the obstacle to RS ownership is simply "you need a (rare) allocation" :) In the UK I spec'd up a RS how I'd want it. £250k. Add on MR kit when its done, circa £80k I'll wager plus wheels and a few bits and bobs and we're talking about a £350k car. My 991.2 GT3 RS MR is around £250k market value now and with the side muffler delete its very raw compared to a GT3 which I love. The new RS is "better" but look at the premium you have to pay. Assuming you do get an allocation of course ;-)
Top👏👏👏
I would love to see a new WRX driven by you at some point. Maybe a bit boring for some but I want your professional take! Just a warning make sure they have some upgraded brake pads!
Heh that was wild 😂😂😂. I think he didn’t quite compensate for the extra weight aboard if I see how and where he almost threw a fine GT3 away 👍
Great video as usual such great content "You can sleep in a car, but you can't race a house "
Crazy lap, 7:20 more or less, impressive and...scary. Amazing corner speed, almost umbelievable in a "normal" car. 190 flugplatz...also klostertal.
Hi Misha! Is the DRS activated by the steering angle or only by pressing the DRS button on the GT3 RS?
What a crazy speed 😳
Nice driving, but even more watch Kuba on full send. It was really nice to see how he use all mm possible on the track.
300 on the straight frome doettinger hoehe ,that was fast 🔥 😳 👌 ,
I know MIsha is amazing. He queezed up a little on this drive. Imagine leaving your life in another drivers hands at the speed in the video. It would scare the life right oughta me.
mad skilzzz 🔥🔥
It's really nice to be able to compare this with the 992 GT3 RS! It's fucking fast, but you can definitely SEE the difference the active aero and downforce elements do. This car was dancing a lot more than the other one. Still a beast, would probably beat my 2013 camry too!
The 2013 Camry would probably beat this around the ring. My 2016 Toyota Yaris 1.3L would be even better though In terms of fuel economy
That's around 7:00 btg/ 7:20 full lap. Great!
7:21 with start line at 4:56 of video and finish at 12:17.
Same exact place from the GT2RS lap a few months ago. 😂
Exactly 😂
Just unbelievable that this is NOT a race car. WOW what a lap 🤩
9:00 The face of someone who's life just flashed before their eyes 😂
😂😂😂
This dude can DRIVE ... Damn ...
Smooth as silk.
whaaaaaaat, this driver has the least smooth inputs I have ever seen
@@poppachoppa8956Exactly what I was thinking! Far too many sharp inordinate on the steering wheel, he was pushing his luck in & out of many of the corners.
Porsche going 280+ on high speed section Nevera: hold my charging cables
God i love this kind of videos!!!
