Heath Ledger is most famous for his portrayal of The Joker in the Batman series! From his work there have come many other Joker movies and adaptations. What actor was your favorite Joker?
Facts Verse just saw Joker movie it was good and Joaquin Phoenix acting was awesome but no one can replace Heath Ledger acting as the Joker at least for me
The guy who plays Author is my favorite whatever.
Facts verse
Apples, oranges, bananas
Joaquin Phoenix
Not only is it so sad that he passed away after filming the movie, what really saddens me is that he didn't live to know how legendary his performance was.
I’m sure he knew
Oh he knows
Hes so fucking good at being the joker. Phenix does him good tho. I love his prefromance to
Or to return as the Joker 😥 we will never get to see more scenes
He knew I bet he knew in his heart
Heath didn't chose Joker , Joker chose him .

@@seylur2829 I think we know what he's saying no need to correct it's fine.
MrBigwolf yeah
@@TophatMilo yeah what? You agreeing?
MrBigwolf yeah I am 😅 no one cares how you spell things if we still know what it says
He was willing to literally lose his mind and get physically beaten up just for the movie for us. Now that there is someone I will always respect. Edit: I worded that wrong I’m so sorry. I’m not saying he’s crazy or anything I’m just saying that he was dedicated in getting into character for playing he joker and I respect all of his hard work.
THAT IS SADLY SOMEONE THAT WAS OBSESSED AND MENTALLY SICK. I FIND THIS VERY SAD. HE LOST HIS LIFE DUE TO HIS OBSESSION WITH THIS EVIL JOKER, AND ACTING. IT IS TRUE WITH MANY GOOD ARTISTS.
This isn’t what happened at all. That’s a narrative.
So, this sounds like a totally sane person?
Best joker ever, I honestly think if Heath was still alive he would have bagged every other joker role in the movies since he passed away. No one will ever top heaths performance. It’s a shame he never got to hold that Oscar himself. R.I.P Heath 💙
I think he was the best joker by far but I think the same thing about Christian bales Batman portrayal as well and now look who’s Batman 🤣😂🤣
It‘s so sad that he couldn‘t hold his oscar with his hands
Mel O did he overdose?
Ezy prplx yes, that’s what they say
Rip in peace
The Doomguy WHAT💀💀
I think the fvck Not He meant rest in piece.
Heath was the greatest joker of all time. Period.
Nuke Duke him and Jack Nicholson
For now. Maybe in the future there will be better, it just might take a very.. very long time..
I like the new joker just a bit better
Doug Mertz I agree
saint lewis I don’t really pay much attention to what society have to say, I personally think that no one before played the role quite like he did. That’s just my opinion. I’m not saying that because he’s passed on or that any other Joker was crap. It’s my opinion and you know what the say about opinions
If Heath ledger was still alive today I could imagine with Margot Robbie they would make a great couple for the Batman movies for Joker and Harley
awh man don’t remind me they would make the best movies
plus they're both Aussies
Yeh....
Heath wouldn't do it
Heith ledgers joker doesn’t seem like he would match up with her harley Quinn... I mean, can u imagine heith ledgers joker showing compassion to ANYONE?? Cuz I rlly can’t lol. As fair as a couple pair goes, Jared Leto’s joker and Margo’s Harley Quinn seem to work together rly well. Harley Quinn is obviously played way better and stands out in each scene much more but as far as combining personalities goes, idk if Heith’s would work with that Harley Quinn. That’s like sayin Joaquin’sPheonix Joker and Harley Quinn would make a great movie, simply bcuz Phoenix’s joker was obvi waaaaay better than Jared Leto’s version. But...idk if that would work out. I mean, even Phoenix version of Joker would probly have a better connection with Harley Quinn than Heith’s Joker. So idk I just can’t see Heith’s Joker having an intimate connection like that with ANYONE tbh
Heath is a LEGEND Ledger, he made that role legendary. He was such a brilliant actor. And he was just a beautiful lovely man, that face, eyes that radiate light, that smile, & the chiseled jaw, irrisistable
I'm not a heath ledger fan but this is the best anyone has ever played the joker... I'll give him that one...
Mr Spook He didn’t just play Joker. He was Joker.

@@remodluna7868 of course, no doubt..
Dio da Rato We shouldn’t compare the two. Both completely different takes.
He is the reason other jokers look like a joke now
jared leto lmao
@@zzz_phyr That's true, but that's only because they're on different playing fields. Heath's Joker is at the peak of insanity. Joaquin's Joker is slowly descending into madness. They aren't playing the "same Joker" in a way.
Jaoquin is also good
Evangelina de Sânge Yup.

The greatest joker ever yet damaged himself in the process! Imagine allowing your co star to beat you!!! Locking yourself away to get crazy and deep into the character! RIP Heath Ledger. Legend
It makes the fights look more real. Respect for letting Bale beat the crap out of him. 👍
I know the face paint technically isn’t accurate to the comics - but Heaths look is absolutely iconic

In their last moments, people show you who they really are. Well said by Heath. RIP
Heath's joker and Joaquin's joker are 2 very different type of joker and they really nailed it. I would give 10/10 for both.
Yes, absolutely.
This is the only logical answer
He didn’t die from going insane by playing the joker. That’s fake news. He died from an accidental overdose from mixing to many of his med’s together. His sister warned him but he didn’t listen. Because he didn’t believe that would happen. Welp it did. Not to mention he loved playing the joker and when he had gotten the job he was happy and his sister said that their was absolutely 0 signs of depression. So please let’s not exaggerate and make the story more then what it actually is. I’m sure he wouldn’t like that.
Thank you
I was having serious depression from 2016...no one knew it until october 2019...Ive turned 19 this 24 feb so....I was just saying....have a nice day ....btw Im on medication now ;)
Ya...
Yeah, it was an accidentally fatal mix of different meds. :'( He did not overdose, and he especially didn't overdose on purpose and espeeeecially not on illegal drugs. That was so weirdly portrayed in the media that most people still don't know what really happened. He had a bronchitis or sth like that, and took different meds for that and additionally a sleeping pill. That's the only "problem" he really had, sleeping problems from time to time. He was not suicidal, and he loved his daughter, he would have never killed himself on purpose. Also he had almost finished his next role (in The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus) when it happened. It didn't have enything to do with the Dark Knight movie. Heath was my favorite actor since his teenage years, it's so sad
Lisa Kogelnik facts But the mix of meds made him accidentally overdose so yes he did overdose but accidentally.
Michael Caine's character is Alfred, not Arthur.
Marc Bryan Paguinto yep they lost me there
Arthur Fleck
I was wondering like did it just sound like Arthur or did he actually say Arthur
I'm glad I wasn't the only one that caught that😂😂

Heath never wanted to play Batman, Christopher Nolan even asked Heath to audition for him and he refused, same way he refused to audition for Sam Ramis Spiderman. Look up the Rich Eisen Show, Christopher Nolan talks about how he asked Ledger and he wasn’t interested.
He's not the only actor to win an Oscar playing a villain. Anthony Hopkins won for "Silence of the Lambs", and plenty others.

Have you ever heard the phrase An artists' work is worth nothing until they are dead? To Heath, this was his masterpiece.

I don’t think that applies for Heath. Whether or not Heath died this performance still would’ve made movie history

Heath was cast to be the batman ,after reading the script, he choose to play the joker... that's fact and he's the best joker of all time...
Randy Mania but Christian Bale has already been cast for the Dark Night, so that’s not really likely...
Bale is the better part for Batman ! He is the better actor, in terms of looks body and the mannerism. He is one of the best when not the best Batman of all time. Sad for him that he died in young years.
Randy Mania thanks for that info cause I was questioning who would deny Heath?
Randy Mania Christina bale was already chosen to be Batman throughout the whole dark knight trilogy. It wouldn’t make sense to change the actor for Batman in a movie series
Heath was asked to be batman in Batman Begins, but he refused straightaway. After the first movie be made, Heath got the realistic style Nolan wanted to present and he loved it. Soon, Heath called Nolan for casting him as Joker even before the script been written.
